We used to call those crazy patch blocks back in the 60's. We would cut a piece of muslin the size of the block we wanted and keep adding pieces until it was beyond the muslin square and then square it all off. Make a bunch of them, add a border, and wha-la, a quilt. Good way to use up small pieces.
When I am feeling down, I read your blog. It always uplifts me. Thank you.
bonnieGeowynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03717614861410465400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6551696592048647882.post-55175892081741641152010-02-22T18:18:27.398-06:002010-02-22T18:18:27.398-06:00I have been so busy the last 2 weeks but now that ...I have been so busy the last 2 weeks but now that I am caught up I just wanted to say how much I'm looking forward to making the flower fabric pin and the Chicago cookies. I made your same play dough recipe years ago for my kids and have made a ton of Kool-Aid play dough for our church. May I also say that I just loved your clothesline photo, I think it's my favorite of yours and 'My waffle wedded wife' was hilarious! Blessings to you and yours.mum4305https://www.blogger.com/profile/03471659594035125696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6551696592048647882.post-83663661718981104072010-02-22T12:25:34.567-06:002010-02-22T12:25:34.567-06:00Precious Linda,

Now are they not the sweetest?

Anne with an e, thank you for the prayers!!! My Daddy was very aware of what was going on yesterday. It was wonderful. Our whole family was with. We gave him a pad with paper and he would try to write. Yes, I love crafty anything!!!!! Being that I was in Home Ec all through school it just got in my blood.

Barb, I just loved the pictures of the pink houses. I told you what one my favorite was. I have it saved! Thinking of fixing up the chicken coop. How about pink, brown and white!!!! I can see it. It also made me think of a fabric line with pink chickens and brown polka dots. Going to put it on paper!!!!! You inspired me.

Mary, you are precious. Thank you! That strawberry is the cutest isn't it?!

Amy (little sis), I enlarged the strawberry a bit. Let me see if you do make it up.
