Time for a Little Prairie Flower Farm Party and tutorial!

Party Closed!

Hello Sweet Ladies,

I have been busy!!!!!!!! It was such a sweet vacation.......much needed! I spent time doing the things I love~

AS many of you know who follow Prairie Flower Farm, know that this last week I was on vacation from the bakery where our family serves. I love it when I get to come HOME as you know. It has not been an easy thing for me to go outside my HOME, but I have seen the Lord's tapestry of my life with many beautiful threads. He has taken "many" golden threads and weaved them into my tapestry and I can see that He knew when it was time to send us out.......into the world.....to proclaim that He loves and died for people so they can be saved. It hasn't been with out growing pains for me, but that is okay. He let us continue to stay as a family, which we asked Him to please do. We have always been a farm family that has worked along side each other and have loved it! Anyway all that to say we go back tomorrow to serve. It is well with my heart. I have been given such a gift this last week...... so how can I complain. Right?

While I was off I was stitching on 7 wash clothes. So I could have a last day Party!!!!!!!!

I like the white on white.......sweet little stitches.

The party starts today and ends on

Here are the instructions to the

Simply Sweet Crocheted Wash Cloth........

White wash clothes,
A ball of Crochet Thread extra fine 30 size or what you might already have on hand
and
US7/1.5mm crochet hook

Instructions:
The wash clothes I bought already had a blanket stitch around the wash cloth. That made it easy for me to start stitching. Begin with a slip stitch along one side of the wash cloth. Do a single crochet  into every one of the blanket stitch space. When you come to each corner, do 2 single crochets in one single crochet on each side of corner. It will help your shell stitch lay better. Single crochet all around the whole wash cloth and slip stitch into the first single crochet. Now to start your shell stitch. Start with one single crochet in the first single crochet of first round. *Skip 1 single crochet and do 6 double crochets in 3rd single crochet* Repeat this all around the washcloth. Easy. Now press wash cloth fold, tie a ribbon around it, add a bar of soap and you have a gift. I know what I am doing for the girls in our family for CHRISTmas. I have a bag ready with all I need when I have a minute to sit!

Vitaliy and I cleaned the big coop!!!!!!!! It is all fresh and clean for the girlies and boys!

The Cochins Girlies are a little mixed up on sitting on their eggs. Babies are growing inside the eggs, I candled them. They sit and then leave for long periods of time. Sometimes two girls are together.......I took the eggs and now they are in the incubator. Silly girls.....now I am the MOM!

My Girlies are so good to me..........did you know they never take a day of rest........or maybe while they are sitting that is their resting time......I think so!

Hugs to your day!!!!!

Know that I will continue to pray for you as I am at work. I have a little "pray" sign that I have up at my station......it makes me think of my family and you all!!!!!!

Linda

I've been meaning to also post that I love how God blessed you with the twins you wanted. I love the names you chose - Willow, Leaf and Twig. I shared the names with my children. They thought it was so cute. I enjoy reading and following your blog each day. Blessings to you.

Oh, we use to live in Gladstone, MO and would go to Parkville where you visited recently. That brought back sweet memories. We are in the process of moving back to MO. My husband is from MO and I'm from GA (where we live now). Just some extra thoughts today.

What a sweet giveaway! Thanks so much also for sharing the tutorial for the wash cloths ... so pretty. Lovely gift idea you shared too. I have been so pleased to find the Yardley soaps in the Dollar Tree. They are so nice. I had bought a few with the idea of using for gifts. They would be perfect with these washcloths. Guess I am going to have to dust off my thread crocheting skills and hooks!
