A follower wanted the recipe for The Best Blueberry Muffins, so here is!!!

The Best Blueberry Muffins

1/3 c. oil
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 1/2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare muffin cups with paper cups or grease them. In medium sized bowl beat oil and sugar, then add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Beat in vanilla, baking powder, salt and then milk. Fold in flour, then blueberries. Spoon into muffin cups. Make the topping: I use my food processor. 1/2 cup flour, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/2 tea cinnamon and 3 tbl. soften butter. Blend until into crumbs. Sprinkle the top of each muffin with topping. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. This recipe was given to me by a special friend... It is the best!

  4. Hmmm, for CHRISTmas? New dishes. It sounds so shallow and unimportant compared to peace on earth, but I really need new dishes. Okay, maybe need is stretching it a bit. We love to entertain and our dishes are looking rather, shabby (not as in shabby chic).

I'm already a follower, I just signed up on Facebook AND I get the emails! Thanks so much, Linda. Congrats on the new job!

What a fun party you are hosting. Thank you! I am eligible for 5 votes. Congratulations on your new jobs--I wish you the best! sue.momof3@gmail.com

  11. Hi, Linda, I don't think I'm signed up as a follower but I do follow your blog. I also receive your e-mails. I love reading "your story" and I love your heart for the Lord. Your Christmas give away is precious! We have some very sad strained relations in our family right now that if not healed by Christmas will leave my husband and I very distraught, so I pray for and would like for Christmas for all hearts to be healed in our immediate family and for each heart to be totally surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ.

I don't have a blog, Linda, or I would post your button, and I also don't do Facebook! :-(

May God continue to richly bless you and your family and especially in your new job.

#1 - What I want for Christmas is a new home and a happy, close-knit family. Our landlord is selling our house and the agent told us someone is really interested (I thought people weren't buying these days?). We may be given our walking papers as early as next week. We have no where to live yet and no money for a deposit. If you want a specific item I want for Christmas, I would love some Cricut cartridges.

Lately I've been getting so excited about Christmas coming - I'm so looking forward to making my Christmas cards and gifts, the Advent services at our church, and decorating our house! Actually, what I would like for Christmas is a place of our own to live. My husband and I moved to another state this month and are staying with my mom and house hunting. So for Christmas, I'd love to have a sweet little place of our own to celebrate in!

What I desire most is that our family have a Christ centered Christmas, filled with joy, love, peace, fellowship and laughter. That we are able to bless others with His love and open up our home to as many people as we can for a time of gathering around the table and spending time with one another..Also, that I am able to go about my days preparing for the birth of Christ, making my house a home for everyone that enters in!!

  97. Linda,

Your blog is such a blessing--we look forward to your emails! Abby loves seeing your chicks and ducklings. I would love to win your drawing just to have some of your special fabric. We've prayed for your transition to being at the college & not at home. Your last post reminded me of the movie Blind Side, especially TK saying yes maam:) Lord bless your new ministry among college students! There's so much of a need for love that I'm sure He'll use you.

I would love to see the salvation of some of my husband's family members for Christmas--that would be more special than any physical gift I could have.

Please enter 3 votes for me since I'm a follower and I subscribe to your emails:)

My husband and I just started going to church and were saved this past April so I'd also like for us to know Christ better and to grow together in Christ.
