Are Your Feet............for Jesus?

Good Morning sweet ladies it's SONday,

These feet are Ellieann's, her sisters and Momma's Feet. When I looked at them I knew there was a scripture verse for this picture.

In John 13 Jesus was washing the disciples feet.

2 And supper being ended the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him, 3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God, 4 rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. 5 After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. 6 Then He came to Simon Peter. And Petersaid to Him, “Lord, are You washing my feet?” 7 Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.” 8 Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet!”
Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.”
9 Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also myhands and my head!” 10 Jesus said to him, “He who is bathed needs only to wash hisfeet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you.” 11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, “You are not all clean.” 12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? 13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

As I pondered this verse I thought about Momma's and Grandma's all across our world washing little ones feet and some are preparing them to be foot washers for Jesus. A huge task......but doable with the help of the Holy Spirit guiding.  The verse continues on............

15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. 16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

I also thought about what kind of foot washer am I. I want to be a foot washer..........for my Jesus......I know it isn't about me......it is about HIM and what He wants to do in me. He will tell me when I seek Him out.

This is what is happening with my sweet peas and snow peas.......beautimuss!!!!!!!!! This is what I wore to go and

P.S. Hannah wrote this, if you have any thoughts for Hannah, she will read them here.

Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers as Ellianna had her surgery.  Everything went very smoothly with the surgery and with her waking up and breathing on her own afterward.  The drawback to her being more aware this time is that she is having a lot more pain...she only slept for about 30 minutes last night.  Pray for her comfort.  The surgeon came to see her this morning and is pleased with her Megamind head.  He hopes for 3 more weeks before they have to do another surgery.  They have already written our discharge orders this morning, so we are just waiting for the last bits of paperwork and we will be headed home.  Dear Micah is coming to get us since we goofed and left me here at the hospital without a car. :)   Looking forward to a quiet weekend at home.  We'll be in touch.

Love and zzzzz's,
Hannah
