I got up this morning knowing we have only 1 1/2 days left of our Gooseberry Patch/Prairie Flower Farm Giveaway Party!!!!!!!! So excited to see who is going to win!!!!!!! Have a little surprise for tomorrow..you will have to come and see! I want all of you who have signed up to know I have read every comment. I am so thankful and blessed that you are a part of the Prairie Flower Farmgirl Family! It truly would not be as fun as you all make it. The interaction, the prayers, the encouragement that goes on as you all comment each day, helps everyone keep running the race. It is precious to me and the rest of the girls that follow...I know you feel the same.......you all email me...very very cool thing going on!!
Okay...... today I cooked Steak & Egg Breakfast Burritos for my families breakfast. Oh my are they delicious! Now I am not just saying that. One of my favorite breakfasts is to scramble eggs, spoon into corn tortilla shells. Then I chop lettuce, onions and tomatoes...spoon each on top and then add dab of fresh salsa! That's been my favorite......now Shelly Turner in the 101 Breakfast & Brunch Recipe cookbook as taken it to the next level!!!!!! Now we will be adding sliced sandwich steak......oh yeah! NUMMY! Here is the recipe for you!
Steak & Egg Breakfast Burrito
2 frozen sliced sandwich steaks
4 eggs
2 T. milk
2 t. fresh chives, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
2 corn tortillas
salsa to taste
1/2 c. shredded Mexican-blend cheese, divided
In a skillet over medium heat, cook steaks until no longer pink; drain and set aside. Beat Together eggs, milk, chives, salt and pepper. In same skillet, scramble eggs to desired doneness. Divide eggs even between tortillas; top each with steak, salsa and cheese. Roll up and microwave on high setting for 20 to 30 seconds to melt cheese. Makes 2 servings.
To make your table even more lovely....make up this Frosty Orange Juice recipe...... pour into pretty glasses! You just made your family feel special!
Frosty Orange Juice
6-oz. can frozen orange juice
concentrate, partially thawed
2 c. milk
1c. water
1 t. vanilla extract
1/3 c. sugar
12 ice cubes
Process all ingredients together in a blender until frothy. Serve in tall glasses. Makes 4 servings.
Oh and there is going to be a third winner......a little something I have been making in my sewing room! Think canning jar......can you guess what it might be?
Hope you are all having a sweet day!!!!!!!
Hugs and you are in my prayers.........
Linda
