Blessings to you this New Year! This is a pond close to our farm.
It was such a beautiful day a few weeks back and had to take this picture.
I can't believe we will be in 2010! Where has the time gone? I am excited to see what the Lord has for each of us. I do thank Him for all of you who follow my blog. Can't believe how many precious friends I have made and for that I am truly thankful!
I am still working on the post for the Grammie and Poppa Snowman party. I was gone for 2 days to Lawrence and it did cut into my time on getting it up. I have to do a few pdf's for your use if you want and I need Tressa to help me on that. She is leaving for two days so maybe the first of the week.
I would love to hear of one special blessing that you received this last Christmas or maybe a way I can pray for you for the New Year. I love you all bunches!
From my home to yours,
Linda
Happy New year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteIt has been a wonderful year in 2009 and I can't wait to see what 2010 brings to each of us.
Our blessing for this year, is that we are getting another grandbaby. God has chosen to bless our lives with grandbaby #8. We do not know what it is yet, but it will be a blessing whatever we receive. Thank you for the wonderful blessings you have shared this year. I have so enjoyed them. You write so elegantly.
Here's wishing you happiness, love, prosperity, peace and good health.

ReplyDeleteA very Happy and Healthy New Year to you, Linda!! God bless :)
ReplyDeleteHugz,
Cathy :)
The blessings have sometimes been difficult to see this year, but they have been there. This year has been a year of paring down to the basics, and a year of great creativity and resourcefulness.
ReplyDeleteBut a huge blessing to me was my sweet hubby gave me a new iron!!! I am so thrilled as I needed one desperately! He was fearful that I would not think it was a good gift, but I was over the moon excited!!
And if you really want to know how to pray for my family, it would be that we would see more health this year. One or both of our daughters were at the doctor or hospital at least once a week this year. I am tired of it.
I pray the Lord blesses you greatly this year Linda.
In His Grace,
Sivje
Happy New Year to you too! Love you!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! May the Good Lord Keep you & Yours Safe and Healthy in 2010
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a happy, safe and Blessed New Year!

ReplyDeletePraying that 2010 is wonderfully blessed and joy-filled for you and your family!
Linda, I am so glad I found your blog. It is one of my favorite. I pray that you will have a good 2010 and that you will draw close to our Saviour and see His hand working in your life.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Linda! Happy New Year wishes to you! I am always appreciative of prayers ~ we have been in God's waiting room and are hoping a door will open real soon!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to visiting with you often!
kindly, ldh
Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI haven't commented much, but I've really enjoyed your blog for the last 2 months since I found you through the Girlhood magazine.
First, I want to tell you that you have inspired my creativity. I LOVED the light in the mason jar decor idea. I got all the stuff to make them for my girlfriends for Christmas gifts. So easy!
We had a "pioneer" Christmas theme this year, as we are spending the year in a Little House on the Prairie literature study. We made old fashioned ornaments for the tree. However, we were really stuck on what to top the tree with. The inspiration came from your twig barn star! We made a smaller version, tying the twigs together with burgundy raffia. It was PERFECT on top of our tree!!! It was our most favorite Christmas decoration!!! I will be making another one, larger, for my shed (that looks like a barn :)
Second, wow! You want to know how you can pray for us??? That is a beautiful way to enlarge your tent. Well, I'm gonna take you up on that :) We are wanting to finally make our dream of a homestead come true this year (we kept waiting for it to just happen. It dawned on us 2 months ago that that is kinda silly.) So now we are diligently seeking Him on where, when, how, what will DH do for a job (he's retired Air Force and still works at the base.) No bases in the areas we want to live. So... he'll need to figure out how to make an income. Since you are living our homestead dream, you are probably the perfect person to come along side us in prayer about this journey :) We go by the name Team Monty.
Lastly, I wish you and your beautiful family a joyous year full of God's peace, love, and joy. Thank-you for being a Titus 2 woman in my life, even from afar.
Hi Linda, I was delighted you found my blog. One special blessing I would love to share is the birth of my grand-daughter for Christmas. It can't get any better than that. In the New Year (today) I hope to post about her. Happy New Year to you and yours and see you soon. xo Lynn
ReplyDeleteLinda I don't think I've been following you but I have had you on my sidebar for some time. :-) I'm going to take your button.
ReplyDeleteI'm cleaning out the kitchen cabinets and pantry the New Year's Day. It's a mess! :-) My hubby is laughing at me. He says I'm like a little girl with her doll house moving things around all the time.
Have a wonderful weekend!
One of my special blessings this season was spending all evening Christmas Eve reading the entirety of your blog.....I feel so blessed to have a glimpse of a kindred spirit's life, AND to know that we may be neighbors soon. Moving to your part of the country is a difficult choice for us, but it is much easier knowing there are friends such as yourself already there!!
ReplyDeleteA second blessing that I'm incredibly grateful for is that my husband of 19 years began leading out in family worship, morning and evening for the first times in the days before the holiday. I've often wished for this, but have never nagged or even asked, (that I know!), because I remember my own father's bad attitude toward my mom and her "worship" requests.....so, to have him pick it up and do it all own his own is just amazing, and I am so grateful!! Thank you, Jesus.
Wishing you and your family a New Year filled with all the Blessings it can possibly hold!
