  1. The book bag looks wonderful from the sneak preview, can't wait to see the rest. I made oatmeal apple cookies. It is a modified quaker recipe, with ingredients I can eat and no sugar.

  14. I am just lovin' the green paisley! Paisley is my favorite! And I love covered buttons, also!

Short on time after hubby got home yesterday, so we had 'breakfast' for dinner ~ fried ham and buttermilk pancakes with real maple syrup and Plum Vanilla Syrup my dear friend Sharon made!
I'd rather have breakfast fare in the evening ~ my tummy likes it better then, too! ;~P

I should write down what all these ladies made and then I wouldn't have to think about what to have for dinner! They all sound so good!
    Blessings!

  26. NOTHING!!! Yesterday, Sunday, is actually a non-cooking day for this mama...We had a roast and potatoes that were cooked in the crock pot the night before. I make it a rule for this to truely be a "day of rest" for me as well as everyone else!!!! (BONUS: My hubby was actaully the one who even threw the roast and potatoes in this week...what a keeper huh?) THanks for the giveaway!!!

  27. Linda, Love your creative colors and I adore covered buttons! They add such a special touch. I made my sweetie a chocolate cake for his birthday that used 60% cacoa, so it was better for you. Only one layer, which was perfect for the 3 of us--heart-shaped. Chocolate ganache on top, also 60%. Yum! He likes it, and there's just a little left.

Such a fun last-minute touch to your drawing!

  34. You ladies are totally the best!!!!!!! I had a very busy day moving my Daddy into the Manor where my momma lives (she has dementia). He can't room with her, but they are across the hall from each other. The ladies that work at the manor fixed my momma's hair and put on pearls for when my Dad came in. I thought that was the sweetest thing to do for my Dad. Now that is a sweet Valentine for my Dad. I want to again thank you all for praying for us.

AnnaBojanna, How fun of you to leave a comment on my blog! Anna is a young momma who used to come to our home when she was a little girl. I didn't have my girls then only boys. I would sew dresses and make her dolls. We hand so much fun, didn't we Anna! I always called her my AnnaBojanna. Now she is following my blog. I love it!

    Can't wait for tomorrow!
    Blessings, Linda

  38. Good Morning - I made a big ol' batch of brown rice yesterday afternoon thinking I was going to try a recipe for brown rice patties...but by the time dinner rolled around I had such a headache from a sinus cold I'm fighting that I just whipped out some store-bought veggie burgers & cooked those instead...so now my DH has lots of brown rice to take with his lunch today ;P
