the bag is beautiful. I love the stuff you make. I made homemade hamburger buns today from a recipe I got from King Arthur Flour. They actually were pretty good. Enjoy your day. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteNOTHING!!! Yesterday, Sunday, is actually a non-cooking day for this mama...We had a roast and potatoes that were cooked in the crock pot the night before. I make it a rule for this to truely be a "day of rest" for me as well as everyone else!!!! (BONUS: My hubby was actaully the one who even threw the roast and potatoes in this week...what a keeper huh?) THanks for the giveaway!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLinda, Love your creative colors and I adore covered buttons! They add such a special touch. I made my sweetie a chocolate cake for his birthday that used 60% cacoa, so it was better for you. Only one layer, which was perfect for the 3 of us--heart-shaped. Chocolate ganache on top, also 60%. Yum! He likes it, and there's just a little left.
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun last-minute touch to your drawing!
Wow Linda! That sure is beautiful! Hmm, what did I cook yesterday? Oh, BBQ pulled Pork on homemade buns, Cole Slaw and Baked Beans :)
ReplyDeleteHave ablessed evening and thank you for your generous heart :)
Love,
Sharon
Like someone else said, it was a busy day at the hospital with my son (just some testing, but it took all day), so I made omelets for us all.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I cooked yesterday was White Chicken Chili. Yum!

I was in the mood for steamed califlower, so I just steamed some in the middle of the day and ate it all! I must have needed the vitamins. :D
ReplyDeleteHey Momma Stubbs! I usually don't leave comments, but the bag looks so cute I thought I'd put my name in! :) Yesterday I made some broccoli & cheddar pasta...it turned out a little runny...but still yummy. :)
ReplyDeleteYou ladies are totally the best!!!!!!! I had a very busy day moving my Daddy into the Manor where my momma lives (she has dementia). He can't room with her, but they are across the hall from each other. The ladies that work at the manor fixed my momma's hair and put on pearls for when my Dad came in. I thought that was the sweetest thing to do for my Dad. Now that is a sweet Valentine for my Dad. I want to again thank you all for praying for us.
ReplyDeleteAnnaBojanna, How fun of you to leave a comment on my blog! Anna is a young momma who used to come to our home when she was a little girl. I didn't have my girls then only boys. I would sew dresses and make her dolls. We hand so much fun, didn't we Anna! I always called her my AnnaBojanna. Now she is following my blog. I love it!
Can't wait for tomorrow!
Blessings, Linda

Good Morning - I made a big ol' batch of brown rice yesterday afternoon thinking I was going to try a recipe for brown rice patties...but by the time dinner rolled around I had such a headache from a sinus cold I'm fighting that I just whipped out some store-bought veggie burgers & cooked those instead...so now my DH has lots of brown rice to take with his lunch today ;P
ReplyDeleteI wasn't going to enter because I don't need another cookbook, but this bag has won me over!! Very nice job.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I baked salmon last night for supper :D
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the colors you choose for the bag! Yesterday I was quite lazy and the only thing I actually "cooked" was a veggie salad with boiled eggs.
ReplyDeleteTHat bag is looking great and in colors that speak to me! I only made coffee and toast yesterday...spent the rest of the day on the road and we weren't hungry when we got home so just snacked....does that count? :) It was good toast....:)
