The BABY named JESUS!

Hello sweet ladies,

Hope your day is restful for you and yours............maybe you can reflect on what it must have been like when the Wise Men followed the star..........to where the Christ child lived. Amazing .............and true!

After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.

You are welcome to use this photo on your blog or facebook if you would like.

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
Matthew 2:9-12

I love the Word............it is powerful.

Tonight, My Phil (as a Wise Man), Tressa (Mary) and Taylor (as an angel) will be in a CHRISTmas play at our church. It is a reenactment of the
CHRISTmas Story

played outside in a pre-made stable...........with

real camels.............goats.............. donkey's............... and sheep.
Families will come and watch from their cars, as they listen to the CHRISTmas Story being read and heard from a loud speaker. It is so beautiful to see.
I will try to take pictures. I love the hustle and bustle in getting them all ready at the church. It kind of reminds me of when I was a young girl in Alaska.........the church I would attend.......... always had a CHIRSTmas play. Funny how things we do as a child........reminds us of our past............it's the memories that have stayed with me that I soooooooo love about CHIRSTmas time! Definitely one of my favorite times of the year! If you want to leave a memory....please leave in the comments or by email. Would love to hear.

Yesterday we gave our son, Vitaliy's Bible and other books. We thought it was better to give them to him before CHRISTmas. Please pray as the Lord opens up the WORD for our Vitaliy. It is exciting times! Asking the Holy Spirit to do what He does so well! HE CHANGES THE HEART OF LITTLE ONES AND OLD!

35 years ago we had a son..........we named him Joshua. He was born on CHRISTmas Day. His daddy watched his birth........and it changed my honey's life forever.......you see.........Mr. Phil accepted the gift of eternal life days after............and became a follower of CHRIST. Now that son is hosting this precious orphan boy from a far. Our prayer is that Joshua will have a huge impact in Vitaliy's life and Vitaliy will want JESUS.

JESUS came as a baby........... He died with His arms open wide!
This lady is so very thankful.....HE is truth!!

Thank you for all your precious comments and emails about our Vitaliy. You are blessing our family with your kindness and we thank you very much.

P.S. Love The Decor invited (Too cute for words) us over to her blog......oh my it is a must see!

Hugs........me

  5. Hi Linda!
I bet that nativity was awesome! Gives me goosebumps and also to read about you giving the bible and your prayer that the Holy Spirit will have His way with Vitaliy.
Today the sermon at our church was out of Galatians 4 : 4,5 " But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son made of a woman, made under the law. To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. (I read ahead while the pastor talked and really liked the next verse that followed. "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the SPIRIT OF HIS son into your hearts, crying, Abba Father." Isn't that awesome? I loved especially where it said, the SPIRIT of His Son into your hearts. ;) PTL!!!
Okay; just had to share that with you.
    Holykisses dear friend,

  6. We didn't do the Santa thing growing up, so we weren't expecting a full stocking on Christmas morning. What we did instead was, my mom bought us each 7 stocking stuffers and stuffed our stockings one week before Christmas. Then, each day we opened one little gift from our stocking. It was a fun way to count down to Christmas. I do this with my girls today, and boy, do they look forward to it. I am so blessed to have a mom who created these special traditions and memories for us.
