Comments You Can't Ignore!

This is a card...........from my sis.........I saved it..........
and read it...often.......she is my blessing!

Hello to the Sweetest Ladies in the "World"

The other night I had two Christmas programs two grandsons.........one started at 6 over at 6:30 the other's started at 7 a half an hour away..........we made it. We were blessed this year to hear them singing about the real reason of CHRISTmas......it was sweet. Anyway we got home late and before going to bed.......... I thought I would check my blog and see if there were any comments. There was ONE............your know the kind........where they have laid their heart in the lines. I read..........and the tears started streaming. So many times a simple post can touch a heart...........it is when you get those personal sent comments or emails that tell you really see what is going on in their life.......I love it when I get them...........whatever the reason....... my new friend wrote this on my post in the comments. She has a precious message for all of us. This is what she wrote........some of you have already read it........but it is worth reading again. You will see the hand of God has worked in her life in a huge way. Forgiveness............it is a must.........or we stay in our own prison. I know..........I have been there.........now I have been set free............and continue to be set free and HE continues to reveals to me my sin........Do you have the same story ...........in your life? If not.....you are so blessed. This is what she said.

"Oh Linda what a great job you and the all the girls did on the cookie cookbook. Thanks all so much the ginger cookie is just what I wanted for so long and the one with cornflakes, who knew there was such a thing , I can't wait to try those. All of them look so good but where do I start baking hmmm? Special thanks for your work you did it up so cute. FYI because of you and your blog I have reconnected with my sister. We hadn't spoken for many years. I called her one day after reading you in your blog. It was only a couple weeks ago. Since then we have had lunch one day and today we spent the whole day together . We were alone and each got our Christmas cards and address books. We sat at her diningroom table addressing our cards, drinking coffee and talking about funny Christmas memories. Neither of us are in good health, so I am grateful we didn't wait till it was to late to reconnect. I'm sure we will be baking cookies together this holiday season as we both love baking so thanks for this cookbook and for just being you. You were my angel this Christmas. I am so happy to have my sister back in my life in time the holidays when so many years I felt alone and sad at Christmas. That is just a horrible feeling. God Bless you and yours this holiday season.
HUGE HUGZ"

Thank you Pat for leaving us this comment.......it has touched a cord........and we will never be the same! You are oneprecious lady to have opened up to us like you have. I love your heart.......honest........and now free!

Powerful story.........of GRACE.........MERCY........... REDEMPTION........Dear Sweet Pat......we will be praying for you and your sister Trish will have the most precious CHRISTmas! Your comment has stirred our hearts to reach out and if there is ANYONE in our life that we are not right with.......today is the day.........to start asking the LORD for help in that relationship!

I was so blessed by this comment and had to share about it with. She is one sweet lady........we need to pray for their health also. Sooooooooo now you know why it made me cry. A real live story.........and ladies there are many that will be alone this CHRISTmas.........lets ask the Lord who can we love on. Lets make a difference with our families this year and reach out!

I will leave you with one of my favorite verses in the Word of God.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me (JESUS),
because the LORD has anointed me
(JESUS)
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me
(JESUS) to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,

2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to
comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of
his splendor.
Isaiah 61: 1-3

  6. Linda,
I am not surprised at all that your blog has touched so many women in such a profound and loving way. What a wonderful story for Pat and her sister. I will pray. That is so touching and God was right in the heart of it all. You were a wonderful seed and your light truly shined. That's what God really wants...us to be a light for others. I know you are for me.
EVERY time I visit you here...I am warmed with God's touch from you.
Thank you for all you do to make other people's day so special.
