We Are Having A Party......Gooseberry Patch/Prairie Flower Farm today!

Hello sweet ladies, 

Okay most of you know that we prayed.........for days.........for rain. The Lord gave it and we are so thankful. Thank you sooooo much for all who were praying on our behalf.  The farmer's crops are drinking it up. Things were looking bad for the milo, soybeans and corn, food needed for families in America. There are still places that need rain and they are asking us to pray. Colorado and Texas. Please let us know if there are anymore places. God is hearing our prayers.

It is time for another

Here is the first recipe. I will be giving more throughout the week. NUM!

Using Gooseberry Patches cookbook picture


Sweet-and Sour Slaw
3 oz. pkg. chicken-flavored ramen noodles, uncooked
16-oz pkg. shredded coleslaw mix
1 c. slivered almonds
1 c. sunflower kernels
4 green onions, chopped (from my garden : )
6- oz. pkg. grilled chicken breasts strips
11- oz. can mandarin oranges, drained. 
Break ramen noodles into pieces; set aside seasoning packet for dressings. In a large bowl toss noodles with remaining ingredients. Drizzle with Dressings; toss again. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. Toss again before serving. Serves 6.


Dressing:
1/4 to 1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 c. sugar
3 T. white vinegar
Whisk together all ingredients.
