A Gooseberry Patch/ Prairie Flower Farm Cookbook Party!!!!!!

Party closed!
Hello sweetie ladies,

I told you I was going to have another party and tonight is the night we are starting!!!!! We are having a Gooseberry Patch/Prairie Flower Farm Party! I will be telling you allllll about the new Rush Hours Recipes Cookbook.  You can pre-order it here if you would like. Also has it in Kindle Edition if you would rather get it that way! It has more than 230 Quick-to-fix dinner recipes your family will love..... even slow-cooker meals and potluck dishes! Tonight we were needed to make something simple. A family that lives on a farm next to us, husband was badly hurt in an accident. We needed something we could make fast. It took about 10 minutes or less to mix up the biscuits and 15 minutes to bake.  They turned out so flaky and very very tasty. The secret to this biscuit is the buttermilk! It is a must try! You will want to use this recipe every time you need biscuits for your table or for a family in need like we did!

The giveaway is going to be a copy of the
Rush-Hour Recipes
Handmade Biscuit Cloth
and an antique Biscuit Bowl

There will be more reviews all this week!!!!!! So come back and see what we have cooking up! Here is our first review for the nummy Buttermilk Biscuits......

all you need is..........

An egg gather............ brought the Girly.......forgot the EGGS!

unbleached flour

soda and salt

bake this.........

  2. Hi Linda,
    That book looks so cute!!
I am currently making one of my favourite Christmas things. It is an ice-cream Christmas pudding, I make the ice-cream from scratch with vanilla pods and cinnamon sticks for flavour, then when that is near freezing I add home made fruit cake and home made spice cookies, freeze it and cover it in chocolate!! It is super delicious, and the perfect dessert on our hot summery Christmas days.
Merry Christmas, may God bless you,
    Selina.

  3. Hello dear Linda, I enter in this giveaway!!!
One thing I make only for Christmas is "Foie gras". It's a preparation with duck lever!!!! We eat this with white bread or gingerbread!!!!
Be blessed and send you all my prayer that the flu not catch you and the rest of your lovely family.

  4. I guess the one thing I make just for CHRISTmas is a birthday cake or birthday brownies for Jesus, a tradition I started in my family 24 years ago when my first child was born. We continue it today even tho my youngest is now 18. I wanted my kids to always remember the reason for CHRISTmas. The other things I make are not always made just for CHRISTmas.

  8. I usually make a pie.....the original title is "Japanese Fruit Pie." (the basic ingredients are: pecans, coconut, and raisins) But anyway, people like the pie, but I never liked the name. So, I changed it a few years ago (after 30+ years) to Thankmas Pie ~ since I only make it at Thanksgiving and Christmas time.

Anyways, count me in ~ I love GP and cooking in a hurry. :)

  24. Hello Linda! I am sorry to hear about your neighbor. I hope he is doing better today.
I have many things that I make just at Christmas, but I think my family favorite is "Cherry Cheese Dessert" that my Mom always made. Since she is no longer with us, it is a way of keeping her memory alive. After 11 years my family still says that hers was better - and I'm okay with that. :-)

  152. Oh those bisquits look great! I would love to win cuz I just broke my very favorite antique bowl yesterday! Shattered and gone-so sad. I am trying not to care because I know it is just a material thing-not what really matters. But sadly I did LOVE that bowl. Somehow antique things like that just remind me of family love! I like to have them around to remind me of how much cozy hominess is the "real" thing. Hope you are having a great Christmas Season!

  156. We always make my Mom's special fruit salad..chopped apples, oranges, bananas, pineapple and two jars of drained maraschino cherries!! Used to be one but all of us had the nasty habit of picking the cherries out before dinner so it was increased to two. Whip heavy cream and a little sugar into whipped cream and either top a bowl of fruit or blend the whole works together..it is super yummy and always served ice cold!! UMMMM!!!!

  174. I make cherry pies for Christmas, and don't really make them any other time of the year- I guess it's because it's one of my favorites, and it makes it more special to have once a year. I don't want to get tired of having it. Also, I only make certain cookies, like white chocolate macadamia cookies for Christmas. It's another favorite, that I don't want to get tired of, either...
