ONE MORE DAY....... Prairie Flower Farm PARTY!!!!!

Hello Sweet LADIES!!!!!

Now most of you know that Friday is my last day........that is a good reason for a celebration....don't you think?  I have been thinking for some time to do this, but kept it a secret.

YOU CAN WIN ONE JUST LIKE HIM!!

When I bought my "Rooster Guy" some time back to put up on Willow, Twig and Leaf's fence, I bought another one..... just for this fun occasion of being off work for the summer party. As most of you know my HEART is my HOME and it always has been, but we had to do what we had to do to survive on our farm. We prayed, we knew that many have been having a hard time finding one job, much less 4 at the same place. WE asked the Lord. The Lord opened the door for myself, my sweet man and our girls..... to work during the winter at the college.........TOGETHER! He answered our hearts desire....we have seen His hand all over it and we have been thankful. Sharing Jesus with anyone is what we have always loved to do! Now He is using us with 400 plus kids!!!!!! Tomorrow will be our last day until August! I have been so tickled this last week knowing we were coming back home for the summer. You will find me doing a little happy dance when I think nobody is looking! Heehee! I do have to say saying goodbye to some of my precious kids there was hard. I even got a card from a sweet girl who had to do time in the kitchen......I got to love on her and we cried today when we said goodbye. God used them in my life big time!
Let the Party begin!!!!!

COMING HOME PARTY!!!!

Starting now and ending on this

May 12th
SATURDAY at NOON!

So here is what we are going to do.

All you have to do is tell me..... if you came to Prairie Flower Farm and we had a "basket dinner".....what would you bring?
Easy enough?

I love you sweet ladies, you have listened to my needed prayers all this last school year and I am so thankful for each of you. You have told me you were praying for our family, for the days I was down and I just wanted Home......you were there......you are such a precious precious Prairie Flower Farm family.

Oh and one more thing......everyone from "anywhere" (overseas, Canada) is invited to this party. If you don't have a blog please leave me an email at prairie flower farm at g mail dot com put Coming Home in the subject line.  Or if you leave an anonymous on my blog's comment........ you must leave me your email there to enter. Hope I made this simple enough.

I will have fun while at work on my breaks seeing who is signing up to the party and what you are bringing!!!!!!

Hugs from my farm to your HOME!

Linda

P.S. Told some I would show what my little baby chick looked like after it hatched today. Here it is!

This was what I saw when I got home.

This baby chick is so so tiny, never had one so small.......ever!

It has a real bad hair day right now......but soon it will be fluffy!

  12. Love those baby farm animals ~ I used to love to watch those little chicks peck their way out of their eggs, little by little, when I was a kid. God is SO good to give them such amazing instincts.

Well ... since so many ladies are bringing chicken, I suppose I would have to bring my homemade pico de galo/salsa & tortilla chips. Everyone enjoys the "snackie stuff" between helpings at a picnic. I hope you like cilantro, b/c I love it & put a lot into my salsa.

Thanks for the opportunity to win "Rooster Guy"!

Enjoy your last day before vacation.

    Blessings from Ohio...Kim<><

  14. Mr. Rooster guy is pretty handsome standing gaurd over your barnyard families. Whenever our family had a picnic I always had to make fried chicken, potato salad, southern bisquits and homemade jam and applesauce cake. I'm feeling like picnic! It would be a wonderful pleasure to visit your farm and your family and meet each and every one.

Have a blessed Mother's Day, Linda.

Now that I work year round at the same job, I don't have that opportunity, but I do a happy dance on the first day in the garden. If I was going on a picnic I would pack some egg salad sandwichs, maybe potatoe salad and watermelon. All my favorites and also maybe some oreos. Mmmmm maybe I'll do that this weekend and have a picnic with my sweetie.

I would really like this little rooster guy... he'd look pretty cute on my "eggs for sale" box.
