Shortest Post Ever

Hello sweet ladies,

I am on break at the bakery. I had to just say that I am sorry.....I didn't get a post up last night about the recipes. I ended up getting some of the cages winterized for the teenage chickens. We have been getting really cold here during the night time. It was a fun last day of vacation and by evening I just wanted to be warm in the house........soooooo I will get up the recipes today after work.

Please..... if you read my blog and you live on the east coast let us know how we can pray for you. We are praying for safety!

Hugs to your day!!!!!
Linda

  1. Linda, thanks for your prayers for those on the east coast. Here in our area we are predicted to have very high winds and very heavy rain, starting this afternoon and continuing into Tuesday, though of course it is all guesswork at this point. Prayers for safety are appreciated. I personally would like prayer that we don't lose our power for any length of time, and maybe not at all.

It is so comforting to remember that "the LORD hath His way in the whirlwind and in the storm" (Nahum 1:3)!

  2. Yes we too are praying for all those in the path of this hurricane, it has already passed us, and we breathe with a sigh of relief, and keep praying it will pass others as well. Be blessed and have a good day.

  3. Linda,
Hoping you are totally refreshed after your little vacation, and what a blessing you were to your guests, thanks for sharing your hospitality with us all ♥

Here near Plymouth, Massachusetts the winds have really picked up in the last hour or so, but landfall is NJ & NY and they so need our prayers! Thank you (and all the sweet ladies here)for your prayers! Already thanking God for His divine protection! God bless you ♥

  5. The kids and I are hunkered down in northern MD, near the top of the Chesapeake Bay. We are in the direct path, shortly after landfall. We have been told that we can still expect hurricane force winds where we are and 9-12" of rain. We already have downed branches and our unpaved road is beginning to look like a river. We don't have a generator, wood stove, or fireplace. Our prayers is for safety first, minimal damages, and short power outages.

  6. Oh how sweet! I call mine teenagers, too! Unfortunately, it seems that most of them are turning out to be roosters instead of hens! Oh well, we'll either sell the extras or put them in the pot.

  7. Thanks for your prayers. We are in Southern MD, near Annapolis. So far the winds haven't been bad, but higher winds are predicted. We prepared as much as possible, roof repairs, etc, but we still have some leaking. Our prayer is that all barns will remain standing, no trees fall on the house and for safety for all those around us.
