Raspberry/Jalapeno Jam Recipe

Hello sweets!!!!!!! Are you having a wonderful summer? We are so busy we find ourselves coming and going.

The girls are busy here on the farm! Two Mommas are sitting in the same nest. That is the second pair that has done that this year! I also have 2 Momma Ducks sitting on eggs......they are busy around here!!!!! Love every minute of it!

I have also been making jam as the produce grows.  Yesterday I made 21 half pints and 3 pints of Raspberry/Jalapeno Jam! Ask if it is good...........yes!!!!! Best I think I have ever made and it is the same recipe! It is so so easy too. I have the recipe for you here so you can try it! NUM!!!! I was so excited to find raspberries for 99 cents......so I bought 10 of them! Wish I would have bought more! They are delicious!!!!

Raspberry Jalapeno Jam

1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cups chopped jalapeno pepper
3 cups white sugar
3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
6 fluid ounce container liquid pectin

Serilize jars and lids by immersing into boiling water for
at least 5 minutes. In a saucepan, combine the raspberries,
bell pepper, and jalapeno peppers with the sugar and
cider vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat
and boil rapidly for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let
stand for 5 minutes

Stir in the liquid pectin. Pour jam into sterilized jars and
seal. Store in a cool dark place. Refrigerate after opening.

Hope your day is sweet. Please take some time to pray for our World everyday! Life is happening right before our eyes!!!!! I keep looking for Jesus to come! The things going on just in our country is like I have never seen before. Breaks my heart......but God is in control! That is our hope! Thankful I know Him as Savior. If you do not, please ask me how you can know for sure you will go to Heaven!!!!!! If you would rather email me go here.......

  1. I love raspberry jam and know I would love this, I've bought it before but never made it. You are so right about keeping our world in prayer...when I am tempted to despair, I am reminded that He is in control...we do not despair as those without hope

  2. Raspberry and Jalapeno? Surely you jest! My hubby would love this stuff. Keeping it stored in my brain until the raspberries come in in our garden, usually the first part of August. Great idea!

  3. This world is in chaos and will be until the LORD returns. It just can't be much longer. Such uncertain times with the economy.

  4. Oh Linda..raspberries for .99 cents is a great deal! Tom loves raspberries but doesn't get them to often due to the cost. Your jam looks amazing! Love your girls! They are so sweet! Our neighbors in Nebraska who suffered from a tornado last night needs our prayers. One family lost a 5 year old...so..so sad. We must believe God is in control of all things all the time...

    Blessings, Gert

  6. OOh..now this sounds very interesting! I was walking around our 6 acres yesterday and looking at all the berries coming on....I am going to be BUSY in another couple weeks! There is nothing like homemade jam!
You are so right - our world needs prayers so badly. We have fallen away from our wonderful Lord...tv, internet, cell phones..they all distract us for the glory of God and his teachings. May He have mercy on us.
    Have a lovely day Linda!

  7. Hi Linda
Looks like an interesting jam, I am waiting for blueberries. My favorite :) The chickens look so sweet sounds like a busy summer coming up for you. We have had a little rain here in Oregon which is great, hopefully the 2 wild fires are out (both likely arson the news said). Sunshine today though yay! Praying no tornados come your way last night.

    God bless your week.
