Party is still Happenin'! Thank you!

Hellooooo sweet ladies, well while you were all having a party.........I was sick. I kind of felt bad all yesterday morning  and in the early afternoon, but by 3 it hit me big time. I was woozy, hot, cold, achey. Crawled into our bed at 6 in the evening........now if you know me I NEVER LAY DOWN. I slept for 2 hours got back up and felt so weak. This morning I was going to have a tea party with 4 little girls and had to call it off. I was so sad. We will have a rain check........soon with them. I will take pictures......2 of the little girls are Amish. I am feeling a little bit better today.

101 Easy Everyday Recipes
I am not able to make this recipe up today like I said.........everything smells horrible to me. I am sure this is delicious though. If you make it up, please let us know how this tastes.

Kitchen Cafe Mocha
6 c. hot brewed coffee
3/4 c. half-and-half
6 T. chocolate syrup
2 T. plus 1 t. sugar
Garnish: whipped cream,
chocolate syrup

In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except garnish. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved and mixture is heated through. Pour into mugs and garnish as desired. Makes 6 servings. If you would like it cold add crushed ice.

The party has been so fun.....thank you for making it so.........now if you haven't signed up.......please scroll down to the last post. We don't want you to miss out.

Yesterday morning I was working on a little hankie to put in the apron pocket. Feeling so yucky I didn't finish it. Some time back a friend from A Merry Heart Journal shared about how she uses flannel fabric for hankies. I went back to try to find it on her blog and couldn't find it. You will love reading her blog though. I thought that was the neatest idea......using flannel. It is so soft. I will slip  the hankie in the pocket of the apron as part of the giveaway also. Here is the tutorial for you.

Hankie
Cut one square 11"x11" of flannel
45" piece of lace
Thread

Lay flannel hankie on flat surface. Curve each corner using a canning jar lid and pen. Cut excess off.

Take hankie to sewing machine. Pin one end of lace that has been folded back about 1/2". Using a zig zag stitch sew around the whole hankie.

Stop with the lace over the 1/2" folded lace. Cut off. Press the seam to the backside of hankie.

Tack lace to the backside by sewing matching heavy thread and needle. Make small quilting stitches along the top edge around the whole hankie. Tie off.  Press.

I want to try to make some hankies out of cream flannel. I thought it would be pretty to put some embroidered flowers or initials at a corner. Sounds pretty. Guess some CHRISTmas gifts are in order.........smile. I have made baby blankets with this same concept but I crocheted along the edge instead of the lace. Another idea for you.

Remember tomorrow is our Building Our Homes Together. Click and you can read what is going on. We continue to clean out cupboards and rooms. It is feeling very very nice!!!!!!! Hope your scripture reading is going well also. Praying.

Hugs from the farm to your Home,
Linda

  13. Linda,

Just coming by to pray for you and your family.

    Father,
I don't know what "trick" the enemy is using to prevent Linda from posting this morning....I do know, he is up to no good. I ask YOU to bind our enemy, Father. YOU said, whatever is bound in earth, YOU would bind in Heaven and whatever is loosed in earth YOU would loose in Heaven. Father, I have petitioned the ladies, we are standing together, asking You to bind every attempt of satan to attack our homes, our lives....Instead, we ask YOU to loose the power of the HOLY SPIRIT....where healings are needed, let them be healed in the Name of Yeshua, because by HIS stripes we are healed! Where there are disruptions of power or internet, we ask You to restore these things. Where the attacks are coming against our families, we ask for YOUR wisdom in how to pray, show us what scriptures do we use to turn the enemy away. We know, when the enemy comes in like a flood, YOU will raise up a standard against him....Father, we need that standard raised in the name of Yeshua...we need that standard raised...Your Word says, if we submit to YOU and resist the devil, he will flee....may it be done in Yeshua's name.

Father, let no weapon form against us prosper and let every tongue that rises in judgment be condemned by You...because this is our heritage and our righteousness is of YOU...because of the work done on the cross.

Without a doubt I know, YOU have brought many of us together, "for such a time as this" LORD. May satan be bound, that we would be able to accomplish the work YOU would have us to do. Father, again I ask that YOUR power be loosed in our midst. Where miracles are needed, may they be done in Yeshua's name, that YOU and YOU alone would be glorified. We love YOU, ABBA....may YOUR presence be in our hearts and may we be lead by Your sweet Spirit. Amen
