Peaceful.........night and day

 Hello sweet ladies,

We are having a wonderful time with Susan and her girls. Last night we took them down to Peace Creek and to also see the baby calf. It is fun for us to see city girls on a farm. Very very sweet!

I captured the moon..........never have been able to get a pic. I have tried and tried before.............I did last night.

A turkey feather flew into my garden......... thought it was so pretty.....had to share.

Took a picture of this rose my sweet man brought in from the rose bush. Thought of Hannah, Mark and Ellianna. They had to tell their little boy this morning about Ellianna passing away. Can't imagine. Thank you for all who wrote who have had the same experience. I told Micah.........this is what she said, "How precious". We are giving Hannah the info.

Well this is a short post.........going to go and visit our guests..........also preparing for tomorrow afternoon. Our Taylor is turning 17. We are so excited.....so is she!

Blessings, Linda

P.S. If you haven't signed up for the Party.......scroll down and do so if you would like.

  1. Hi Linda,

The photo of the moon is gorgeous...and I love how you caught it during that blue hour...where the sky is such a gorgeous shade of blue..not day and not totally night either ;) :)

Enjoy the visit with Susan and her girls. I'll bet you all are having so much fun. Just make sure to set aside a little time for sleep...although I know you probably won't :) :) There's too much fun to be had ;) :)

I'm continuing to pray for Mark and Hannah. I'm so grateful that there are people coming alongside them who've had similar experiences, so they can walk beside them as they grieve for their little girl!! I"m praying for comfort for al of them.

Enjoy the visit. Tell Susan I said "hello" :) :) Have a great weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heatehr :) :) :)

p.s. I LOVE that photo of the rose in the jar...so sweet of your hubby :)

  2. Dear Sweet Linda,

Whew wee, that picture of the moon... That's what I'm talking about!!! You'll never get that in the city!

Love the turkey feather, Love even more that you took time to notice it and take a picture of it. ;-)

Mark and Hannah... I have been there... It's too painful to write down in words, a quiet little room in my heart that I do not disturb. God is good. They are in my prayers.

    Have a wonderful day!!

    Love Carissa

  7. I am so sorry to hear about the sweet little baby. Her photo is adorable. I can't imagine their pain and will say prayers for their comfort.

I love the picture of the moon you took. Looks great!! I can't seem to get a good photo like that with our camera. I like the blue color of it :-). We love our garden plants and their progress too. It is so fun to see them come from a seed into an edible veggie. What a great miracle.

We made it out to the sunflower field to take pictures. It was so fun and hot, lol. I read your comment too late or I would of messaged you so we could meet. Our family isn't too far from Sterling. That is a nice town and I love the college. Soooo pretty.

Hope you are having a great weekend!!

  13. I think that everything that happens is God's will and the fact that Jacob was reborn was Gods way of helping Jacob accept the fact that his sweet sister is with Jesus now and the fact that he wants to read the scripture, I think is Elliana's way of coming though her brothers heart and helping him to heal. I don't know what your beliefs are, but the fact that we all believe in God and his son Jesus Christ is all that matters. I do believe that God has his way of helping us to deal with loss and tragedy's like this. I think it is so sweet that he wants to participate in the funeral service. This is all a good thing in accepting that she is gone.
I do hope that you are doing okay, and from reading your blog I feel that you are handling it very well. I wish I could give you a hug Linda as that is my way of dealing with it all. Hugs are very healing.
