Bringing Them Home!

Good morning sweet ladies,
Oh, my what a night. A deer must have broken through the electric fence, because all our horses wer out and had gone across the road into the neighbors freshly cut...... neat in a row......alfalfa field. Not cool.......not at all! We were scrambling....gathering halters....lead ropes....saddling up Juneau....... grain in a bucket and off we went. Denali....our little baby stallion was running like the wind! He is going to be a fast boy! To see horses run across a field does something to the heart.........it is a gorgeous site!

My sweet man got Kiowa.....thinking the others would follow her.......nope! They were all satisfied to just stay in the hay field. Taylor had to encourage them, that this was NOT the place to be.
They have plenty of green grass........but alfalfa was what they were desiring!

I was in the rear in the old farm truck. As they plodded down the blacktop......met only one truck......that was a good thing with 7 horses on the loose.

My sweet man and I had to go back to the pasture to fix the fence.......while there......... this is what our sweet Lord gave us.....He said......... "Good Night". He is so precious to paint such a beautiful picture in the sky for His children. It will never get old to see such beauty!!!!! I love Him so!!!!!!

If you haven't signed up for the party.........please do......the info is in the last post.

Hugs to your day!

Linda

  1. Oh wow, Linda, you and hubby had your hands full. Well, you can count it a blessing the horses didn't end up further away. Perhaps the Lord wanted to give you the blessings in the beauty of a galloping horse and a lovely sunset and this was His way of doing so.

  4. You have my sympathies! We only had one horse but it got out a couple of times and it was NOT FUN trying to catch him. I'm thankful none were hurt! "Man and beast thou savest, O Lord."
