It is Tuesday......getting closer to our CHRISTmas vacation!

Hello sweet ladies,

When I got home last night it was kind of breezy out. I hurriedly got all my chores done and then came back into the house.....

curled up and stitched all evening long.

Family showed up later.......best part of the evening. I love it when son's, their sweet wives and grandkids come. Lots of chatter and laughter......makes an ending to the day sweet.

Then read scripture with the girls.......Philippians 3.

12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:12-14 stood out. Precious thought and Truth!

Hope you all had a nice evening, sometimes I imagine what your home is like, if you are married, have children, grands, what you do, if your a Momma that home schools, if you are retired.....if you are alone.......just thinking......what your family is like, if you know Jesus personally.... as your Savior.....I am always thinking.....a lot!

Hugs to your day.....and know you are loved by Jesus.....and me,

Linda

Welcome to all the new followers.....you have been noticed.....by me!

  4. You are truly blessed to have your family so close. Thanks for sharing.

I had a blessed day shopping for two little ones, whose names my daughter selected from an Angel Tree. Her little boy would have been seven this Christmas, so she is taking the money she would have spent on his Christmas gifts to bless two seven year old children in need. Our little guy went to be with Jesus three years ago.
I decided to add to the gifts, in Carson's name.

    1. How sweet! My daughter just lost her little girl this past October 16. She would have been 2 on November 15. My daughter adopted a family of 3 little girls this Christmas who are in great need. Such a precious way of remembering our loved ones. Merry Christmas!

  5. Sounds like a wonderful cozy evening Linda! Isn't it wonderful when family pops in? It was our youngest grands 2nd birthday yesterday, so they all walked up from their house at the start of our drive way, daughter-in-loves mixer broke so she needed to use mine to make icing for his cake, she found a new butter cream recipe on pineterest that was delish! Then son came back up to get the presents he hid in our garage, and to wrap them, love the time spent with them! Makes the move over here from our home 10 miles away so worth it!
Linda, how is Shannon? How did the sleep test go? Hope they found out something that they can do for her.
    Been praying and will continue!
    Love and blessings,

  6. Hi Linda! I always feel so happy when I stop by. You have such a kind heart! It makes my day or evening better! We are recuperating from the crude. My hubby has a head cold, me sinus! Ugh! Missed our grandsons wrestling match tonight. We were too exhausted to go! Hopefully we will be better this weekend so we can attend the all day tournament! Counting the days to see Nick! Need to get busy decorating! Having company on the 16th. My niece is visiting from Oregon. She wants to come cook Slovenian food with me! I am praying the weather will be good and my nieces will come over and bring my sister! She is like our mother! Patient like Job and a better cook than me! LOL! Pray for us.
I like your Scripture. I find something each day and put it on my desk so I can read it all day long! Makes the pain of working with non believers go quickly! Blessings, Anne
