My Momma

Hello sweet ladies,

I thought I had better put up a little post. Yesterday morning I got a call from the nursing home that I needed to get in there fast. They thought my Momma was soon to be entering the gates of Heaven. Long story short it did not happen until 7:14 last night. Almost all of her family was by her side. I was very very thankful for the Lord detail in that. I kept ladies posted on my fb, but those of you who follow I wanted to let you know. This morning I have a meeting to get her burial in place. Please pray for me, if you wouldn't mind. It will be probably my hardest time in my life walking this out. Momma's are pretty special! The fact that she is not there physically now will be something I will have to get used to. Even though she couldn't talk with me.......her eyes always let me know I was hers. Even yesterday morning when I got there and we saw each other. She let me know. Wonderful memory! Can't imagine my life without her, but I will learn like so many of you have had to learn. Thankful she knew Jesus as her personal SAVIOR! Makes life tolerable!
Heart you ladies, very much!

Hugs to your day!

Linda

    1. Hello Peg, it is a comfort knowing that. I am so delighted she is rejoicing and enjoying her reunion with others in our family who have gone before her. Plus getting to see the two babies she lost when she was young. That took a toll on her life. They were full term. That is a sweet thing, as a Momma it must be so precious for her. Thank you so for your kindness! Hugs, me

    1. Thank you Susannah, how sweet of you. I so needed the guidance yesterday making funeral arrangements. The Lord was faithful. It is so expensive to bury someone. Please pray for us that He would meet our needs in that matter. He has never failed in taking care of myself and my family.......I am His....precious gift! Hugs, me

It was nice to think of the times she gave us as children... when we were growing up. He is leading the way.....thank you for the prayers.....I even feel the supernatural strength and last night for the first time I slept all night long. You were used! Hugs, me

  12. I am so sorry for your loss, Linda, but so happy for your momma that she is now with her Lord and free from all illness and confusion. I remember what my 17-year-old daughter said through her tears when her best friend was killed: "It would be selfish to wish her back." And I am sure you feel the same.

God is so good. He will uphold you and walk through this with you. He will never leave or forsake you. I'm sure as you walk this journey that you will sense the prayers of your friends upholding you.

  14. I know that the fact that she is in glory now is a great comfort to you, Linda. But it is never easy to lose a mama. I still miss mine after 9 years, and Mother always said that she missed my grandmother, who had died 30 years earlier. But God is so gracious to give us joy in the midst of sorrow. What a blessed Father we have! You are in my prayers.

Dear heavenly Father, Thank You that Linda's momma is now with You for eternity, and while Linda continues to walk the journey Home to meet up with her again....please, envelope her with Your presence, power and provision ~ especially for these next days and weeks ahead.
