Good morning from Praire Flower Farm,
As you can imagine we have babies everywhere on the farm. Here is our new addition of baby kittens. Are they just the sweetest? Mr. Phil went out the door yesterday and Momma Kitty was having her babies in a basket. I have it outside so the cats can all snuggle up. We had to move her on the back porch. Oh my, babies are everywhere!! I am not kidding either.
Look at that sweet little face. Nothing like baby kittens.
Our new baby peeking out under the wing of her Momma. We have one that hatched this morning and another that is pecking his shell. It is peeping away and is kicking, because the egg shakes back and forth. I will check when I get back from church. I am sure he will have made his grand entrance. Smile! Two more eggs left to hatch. One duck and one chicken.
We have a very special young lady in our life. She has a beautiful blog, Unfading Beauty. She was singing last night in the garden as we were putting straw all around our tomato plants about this momma ladybug. It was quite comical and yet, if you knew our Micah and what sorrow this young lady has endured you would have loved hearing her sing and be silly. She has chosen to trust her Heavenly Father to teach her everything she needs to learn as she tastes the ramifications of divorce from a young ladies view. She makes our hearts smile when she comes to our farm. God is going to and is using her for HIS GLORY! We see in God's word, why He says He hates it. It feels so good to have one row of our tomatoes with paper and straw down on them. My sweet son's family gave me this cherry tree for Momma's Day this year.
I will have a handful of cherries to enjoy very soon. Oh num!!!!!!!
Remember tomorrow is the day we draw a name for the Coffeehouse Scones and Strawberry Rhubarb Jam!
If you haven't signed up please do. Scroll down!
Love you all bunches and may the Lord bless this day He has
given you!
Our fabric went to International Quilt Market this last week. Please ask the Lord, if you wouldn't mind that He would bless it and companies would buy it. Thank you so much!
I will be able to show you the collections soon. We have to see what pieces sold. Can't hardly wait!
"Wherever you go, always have your own Sunshine"!
Blessings sweet friends,
That looks like a wonderful place to be!! Happy Sunday (=

ReplyDeleteI love kittens and baby chicks. They are so sweet! We won't have any kittens this year. We had all three of our female cats spayed back in December. I am really going to miss them.
ReplyDeleteWe are incubating 40 chicken eggs right now. They should hatch in five days. Can't wait to hear their little peeps.
Have a blessed week!
Thanks for your inspiring page; the pictures of the new "babies" on your farm is so sweet!
ReplyDeleteA lift in the midst of the "trials" of this life; and yes; there are many surrounding us; watching our grown children going through many things now also. Very severe sickness being one.
Also; yes, our family has been effected, hurt by the evil of divorce. It does cause a lot of hurts doesn't it? All the more that as you say, we need to "Lean on the Lord." He is our strength.
Thanks again!
Linda, what a fun day you had on the farm! I love kitties and chickens of course!! Thank you so much for sharing all your blessed days!!!!!!!!!

I love kittens....another farm life event that I miss. It is fun to live this through you. I am so enjoying your blog...my heart is filled when I leave the sight with a serenity that can only come from our Abba Father. Another reminder of the power that is HIS alone.
