We drove up the lane and a huge 10" tree limb broke off a tree onto our roof. So thankful it was just that.
I will post later today who are the winners of our party. Don't have time to get it up right now. Sad. Have chores to do and clean up around the farm. Just wanted to touch base with you.
We are so so thankful for the Lord's provisions for so many people in all the states that were affected. Amazing amazing that more were not killed or hurt!!!!!!!!!
Bless you sweet ladies for praying. It was so wonderful to use fbook to let you know how to pray. Precious women and families is all I can say and so so appreciated by our family!!!!!!!!!
Linda
Glad to hear you and yours are safe sweet friend!~Amy
ReplyDeleteHow frightening, and how good to have the prayers of blog friends surrounding you. We are prayer warriors, aren't we? Glad your home came through almost unscathed.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you all are OK!! :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that you all are safe! And glad there was no serious damage. Regina
ReplyDeletei've been praying that you would be able to post today...so very glad you/family are safe! there is always a lot of cleanup after a treacherous storm. we had the northern end of your storm here in IA last night too. 2 cities were hit in IA with tornadoes. we were spared...lots of wind/rain/lightning/thunder! just one more 'typical' spring storm... ;(
ReplyDeleteBless you...^)^linda
Good to know you are safe. Is the limb actually 10" or 10' ? Thanks for letting us know. Didn't know anything about the storms until this a.m. on the way to church, on radio station. Hugs and thank you for God's protection!
ReplyDeleteThought about you this morning as I was getting ready for church. Isn't it wonderful how God brings people into our minds and hearts so we can lift them up in prayer! So glad you are ok. God Bless you this week as you serve Him. Your posts always bring a smile to my face and a warmth to my heart.
ReplyDeleteOur thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family during this terrible weekend! I'm so glad you're all safe, just so sorry you have to clean everything up today!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
Hi, Linda, so glad you and your family are okay. We are in Western Kansas, and so many times we sit here and watch it build just east of us and head straight for you all. Know we are thinking of you. God Bless. Laurie
ReplyDeleteI had been praying off and on for the last couple of days for you folks in 'Tornado Alley', your family in particular, Linda! So very glad all is well (except for the limb)! Things can be fixed or replaced, but people are a different story! I don't think I could live where there are seasonal storms EVERY YEAR! ~ I'll stay here in good ol' WA were we only have earthquakes and volcanic eruptions on occasion! :~D
ReplyDeleteStay safe and Be Blessed, my friend!
Linda, I am so so glad you are all okay. You must have had all your precious animals all tucked in tight in their homes. How is Juneau? Wouldn't surprise me if she decided to have the baby during the storm, hope baby stayed in until you got home! I bet they were all scared though, and glad to see you, and you them!
ReplyDeleteLove, and take care,
Carol
I am so glad that you are ok.
