Pumpkin Fluff Dessert Dip........NUM!

Hello sweet ladies,

Today is like a Friday for myself and family! We will start our vacation this afternoon. The part I like the best is that it will give me time in getting ready for Thanksgiving! Can't wait! We will be cleaning up in the bakery before we leave work so today will be a very busy day! Yesterday we fixed a huge dinner for all the college kids......they loved it and were so thankful.

The other day the school nurse at the college brought this recipe in for everyone to taste at the kitchen. It was so good, but I never got the recipe. Last night I found it on Pinterest!!!!!!! Here is where you can find it.  This weekend my daughter in love is going to have a "Back to Basic's get together" at her home with some ladies, we will be having breaks during the day so I thought this recipe would be perfect. I will be using Honey Maid Cinnamon Sticks for dipping along with apples. I am so blessed to have a daughter in love that loves to the Lord. She invited young, middle age and older woman into her home so each could encourage one another in the Lord. We will be listening to videos from Nancy Campbell, Above Rubies , though out the day.

We will also have lunch together. I will be making up homemade pita bread, stuffed with leafy lettuce and chicken salad (with large purple grapes, yum). Here is the Recipe. I did a tutorial on how to make it.......it is really easy to make!

We will be spending time learning ways that we can cut costs in our homes. I will be showing how to make homemade applesauce, grind whole wheat using a wheat grinder and also how to decorate a mason jar into a candle for the holidays. I will put up a tutorial on how to do that. It is going to be a special day to start out our vacation. Please keep us in prayer on Saturday.... if you wouldn't mind.

Also wanted to report that my sister Shannon went to see the cardiologist, yesterday and was very encouraged. She and my brother in love were blessed! Thank you so much for praying. The doctor would like for her to go to Denver to see another doctor that  happens to be the best in the US. Only the Lord could do that! Again......we are so thankful to each one of you who lifted them up! God heard and we are so grateful for each one of you!

Well........hugs to your day! We will be having a party while I am off!!!!!!!!

Linda

  1. Linda, continued prayers for your sister!! Thankful for the new Doctor!

Enjoy your day with the ladies! Sounds like it will be an awesome day!!
Each week several of us get together from church. We do a project found on pinterest and then discuss and share thoughts from the previous Sun teaching. I attend a fairly new church with mostly younger people. But they are blessing and teaching me!!! : )

Prayers for you and your family as you begin your Thanksgiving vacation time. May it be a time of joy and refreshment for you.

Haven't the sunsets been great out here?? Being more on the city end? A lot of the beauty gets blocked from city lights and buildings? But even still, the colors I see in the sky, the view from my apt balcony has just been soooo pretty. I have been making a cup of coffee and sitting on the balcony the last couple days as the sun goes down! Just beautiful colors God has given us in the sky!

Gods Blessings to You and Yours,
    Linda in Wichita

  6. I am requesting prayers from all of my co-followers regarding a new job that I have put in for. If it is His will that I should get it, then please pray for me to be able to handle the situation with grace and poise and show God's love. Thanks sweet friends!

  7. Many blessings are surrounding you. Your attitude about anything that come to your family, good or bad, you share so wonderfully always giving thanks to Him! I ask the Lord just to remind me that praying is the best medicine. I have such a long list of people that need prayer. Each day someone new has a request. I know the Lord listens and answers in His time.
