It Is My Special Day Ready Or Not Here I Come! Smile!

You may take this picture and share it with your friends.

I planted these last year. Are they not the sweetest?

Today is a special day for me. I am 58, now when I was young that was really, really old. But now that I am 58 I don't feel any different then when I was younger. Honest!!!!!! I can still run, so that means I am still young! Hee hee! I love birthday's don't you? It's not the presents it's the family that comes around you and loves you on your special day that I love. Doesn't everyone need that in their life? So I will be with family and maybe they will take me and I will buy two ducks and some baby chickens. Now that would really make me happy!!!!!!!

We have fast Internet!!!!!!!! What more can you want? The girls and I are so excited. We had internet before and the tower to it broke. Anyway last night the man from Kyle Internet showed up at 6 p.m. with the piece of equipment, put it on and said "try it." I actually loaded one picture and it took me 10 seconds. Before one picture took 30 minutes or longer to load. That is why I haven't been able to load any up. Yay for me!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited! So as you know I haven't had many pictures up, so this morning I have been over at Picnik and I am making collages for you.

I have been loading pictures this morning from the last month so you can still see what has been going on on our farm. If you want to see the pictures bigger, just click the picture.

Little Miss Fluff is setting!!!

1. Her eggs she has some borrowed eggs
2. She came out to eat this morning and got off her nest for a minute
3. She is all fluffy now, she looks so cute!

4. It is time to go and sit again. She is such a faithful little momma
5. This is my favorite part when she takes her beak and tucks her eggs
into safety. Oh how I want to be a momma like her to my
children!!! Keeping them in safety!
6. She is all fluffed up protecting her eggs! She talked nonstop
while she was eating with the other chickens. One of the mommas
got into her nest. Little Miss Fluff was not happy!

Planting Tomato Plants

1. prepare the ground
2. Dig a hole about 6" deep
3. Add 1 tsp. fish emulsion to one gallon of water
4. Pour 3/4 cup around the inside of hole,
cover hole with a layer of dirt

5. Always break open the bottom of the planter
6. Before planting take bottom stems off of plant
leave about 3-4 on the top
7. If you want to plant early before the frost is gone
you can use Wall of Waters.
8. My little baby plants are snug as a bug!
Now we wait for plump red tomatoes!

TRASH2TREASURE
I think you can click on the picture and it will make it bigger for you.

Here are the pictures from Stutzman's. They did it again. To much fun! I love that place!
I bought two new things that day that you are just going to love. It is for my chicken coop after I get it painted. Any ideas on what color? I am thinking sage. I go back and forth on the color.
I will keep you posted. I have been given some planks and I am going to make a picket fence
around the wired fence. I just love spring don't you? Our little farm needs lots of work...... my girls and I are going to get busy!!!!!!!

I am going to go have lunch with family....... I love them so.......... Thank you Jesus for
thinking up families. In the hard and good times.

The Bible says in Psalm 139:13-14 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my "Momma's Womb" I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful! My God says His works are wonderful. I am one of His works! I choose to believe that, even when I don't feel so wonderful. If he says I am........ I am. I will enjoy my gift of life. I hope that you are enjoying yours today.

Love you all and trust that you are all getting some warm weather.

  21. Happy birthday Linda - a day late!
My 9 year old was looking at the blog with me this morning...she wanted to know why we can't have chickens. Not sure our neighbors all around us would appreciate it. We are going to plant flowers in our yard today. Maybe one day we will be farm girls too :)
    Have a blessed day,
    Charity
