Enjoyed the Evening Planting!

Hello sweet ladies,

Prayer Request for one of our Prairie Farm Girls, Sherry.

Linda, would you mind asking the ladies for prayer for me Tuesday as I have the rotator cuff surgery and
it is supposed to be rough surgery.  The doctor said I will need very strong pain meds (I don't do well
with any kind of pain med) and I asked if he could give me what he gave me for the knee surgery and he
said that wasn't strong enough to help at all.  I'm just praying for lessen pain than expected and a quicker
recovery - one year is what the doctor said.

Thank you ladies!

Heavenly Father we come in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would make the doctor totally aware of Sherry's every need. You already know that she does not do well with strong pain med's, so we ask that You would give the Doctor wisdom as to what to do for her at this time. We are so thankful that we can come to You and entrust Sherry's with You. We praise You and are thankful that we have You Father. We thank You in advance for Your provision, which are mighty!!!!
I also lift every woman that is a part of our PFF family. Please Father minister to each one of them and their families by Your Holy Spirit. Draw each one of them close to You. Help them today in their decisions as some serve and love their families, other's who also have health decisions, some who have broken hearts because because of issues in their lives. You know us so well. Give them the joy of Your salvation! Help them in knowing that You are not far......that You want to be a part of their lives. I do thank You for all that we don't even notice in a day.....when You have been there!!!!!!!

We thank You for Your love, most of all! In Jesus Precious Name we pray! Amen

Thought I would show you this fun way to start your seeds. Real easy and very cleaver. Great for kids. I put this in a plastic bag to keep the moisture going longer. I found this method on Pinterest.....go HEREThese are peppers......I will be transplanting them soon.

I also transplanted a blue salvia into an old chicken waterer. It has holes all around the bottom. I put it at the entrance of Willow's pen at the gate........I will like how this looks when it blooms!

I had some pansies... so I put one in with the strawberry plants.....thought it needed some color!

The shasta daisies that I planted in the containers are growing so well. I had an old wash tub.....in fact I have quite a few of these tubs. I put dirt in it and transplanted the daisies. This will be out by Willow's pen also. I have a lot more daisies to transplant around the farm. They remind me of my home in Alaska!

Tomorrow at the bakery we have a company coming who is going to train the girls and I on how to use their pastry products It will be real interesting for us I am sure. I will try to see if I can take pic's! Then on Thursday and Friday we will be making 8 Lemon Chiffon Cakes and 10 Strawberry Rhubarb pies. We are baking for the Easter Dinner at the college for Sunday. We don't have to be there just bake for it.

Thank you for all the new ladies that have signed up for the
Prairie Flower Farm/Gooseberry Patch Party!!!!!! If you haven't signed up you are welcome to go HERE!

I have noticed all the new followers.......thank you for being a part of Prairie Flower Farm!

May the Lord bless each of you precious ladies,

Linda

Our daughter Tressa has asked our family and friends if they would like to join her in reading a chapter a day starting with 1 yesterday in Proverbs. We started yesterday.......if anyone would like to join us, you are welcome!

The verse that stood out to me as Proverb 1: 7-9. There was a lot more that spoke to me, but I loved the "father's instruction and a momma's teaching part". What a precious role the Lord has given woman to teach their children.  I just love Him so much!!!!!

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.

  8. I like the reading of Proverbs. I am doing the "Reading thru the Bible in a Year" again this year and of course Proverbs is on the daily reading, along with Psalms. In the course of one year you read Proverbs and Psalms two times. I have done this several times and enjoy it very much. Have you tried?
One year we were challenged to read the Bible in 90 days and that really was fun. About 30 minutes per day reading. Love your litttle farm life. I grew up on a farm many, many year ago.
