Sweet Ladies,

First off thank you, thank you, thank you, everyone of you who took the time out to make our party so successful. You were all so kind!!!!! I wish I could give every one of you something!

If you have followed my blog or been a part of one of the drawings you know that it is one of the most delightful things for me to do! This drawing was no different. When Gooseberry Patch contacted me I was so excited, honored and wanted to share something fun in the celebration! Prairie Flower made new friends and for that I am so grateful. Your kind words were so nice. The fact that at the same time we started the party, soon after, I lost my Dad. Hearing from all of you brought sunshine to my day, just what I needed. You were all such sweethearts!!! The prayers for our family got us through a very difficult time. I am so grateful to my God who shined Himself on our family, by using all you precious ladies. Thank you so much. Words are just not expressing what I am trying to say. If you were here in front of me, (now that would be wonderful), I would hug you!

I also had fun going over to Gooseberry Patch's Blog and reading the comments that you all left there. Hope you enjoyed them also. Gooseberry is trying to get 1OO,OOO fans on Facebook. Check it out!

A big thank you to Gooseberry Patch also for blessing me so. They are such a wonderful company and if you have never seen their online catalog it is a must! All their cookbooks are fantastic! I have a lot of them. Smile!

The Winner Of The Prairie Flower Book Bag and Cookbook! IS?

The Prairie Flower Book Bag has a pocket for your water bottle,
cell phone and library card.

I am so excited!!!!!!! The drawing has 15 more minutes before we draw a name! I thought I would start working on my post now, because it goes out by email today at 1:00 p.m. I have had so much fun with this drawing. Reading all the cookbooks that you all have in your cupboard has me so curious!!!!!! I do want to take some time and look them up. With my Dad and all being in the hospital this last week did not give me the time I wanted to do that. I really want you to know though you brought A LOT of SUNSHINE to my day. Reading about who you are and what you like makes me fill like I am so rich in your friendships. I do want you all to know that I do care about you and love you bunches!!!!!!

Here is the Prairie Flower Book Bag and Cookbook! The winner for this is

Judy C. from Black Cat Quilting

Judy said, Hi Linda,
First my wish is that your father has a speedy and uneventfull recovery.
second one of my favorite cookbooks is a Betty Crocker book
my mother gave to me years ago.
Have a joyfull day
Judy

Isn't that the sweetest? That is how all of you are so caring and I love you for it!

I also picked out 3 more winners for a small gift!

Lorus, (she doesn't have a blog)

and
Rhona (she also doesn't have a blog)
"I don't have a way to get a hold of you. Please email me."

I will be getting a hold of you all after I post this. Congratulations ladies and again thank you for all of you who entered. I know that all your comments were read by one another and probably some blog hopping was going on. That is one of my favorite things to do. I have so many blogs saved in my favorites. My girls cringe. It is so funny.
I know where you all are. Hee hee!
I will be doing a tutorial for this Flower Pin, which is on the top left hand
corner of the bag for free. That will go up this week sometime.

Okay, another thing. The Prairie Flower BookBag will be an e-pattern for $7.00 (had to change price to $7.50). If you are interested please leave a comment below with your email address or just email me. The pattern will be full of fun ideas and recipes. I will make it worth it for you to buy. Also, it doesn't have to be a Book Bag only. It could also be a kitting bag, craft bag, quilting bag, market bag, you name it. I will be working on the tutorial this week and it should be ready by the middle of next week. Pray things don't come up with my Dad. (smile)

ARE WE HAVING FUN YET? I had so wanted to have this all done for you today, but our parents come first, right?

Just a little note for who has been praying for our family and my Dad.
One more thing. Yesterday I had to go sign my Dad out of the hospital. The nursing home that my mom is in had room for him to come stay there. He has not been able to see my mom for probably about 3 years because he is on oxygen 24/7. My momma can't leave the home either. In the morning I had called the nursing home to find out what the arrangements were going to be as far as my dad coming and staying there until they can get him stronger. I also asked Teresa the head of nursing if they could make sure Momma looked sweet for my Dad. I walked in the door and Teresa said. We fixed your Momma up with pearls and a head band. Ha! Is that the sweetest thing you ever heard? My heart was dancing!!!!!!!! Just wanted to give you all a smile. On that note thank you all for praying for my family. You are the best!

GOD has blessed me so,
With You!

WHERE IS YOUR TREASURE?

WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO Matt. 6:21

Today I had two young ladies in my home that lost their precious momma three years ago this last Sat to cancer. The girls are 19 and 14. They were with us yesterday and all day today to help celebrate Tressa's birthday. Our daughter Taylor came to me and asked if she could fix a surprise dinner for both the older girls and I of course said yes. She wanted to use the new red dishes, and 4 red goblets (that we bought on sale for special dinners just for the four of us). She also asked for the red linen table cloth, that we use at Christmas time. I had to go help with the last of our son's soybeans, so I was gone while she was cooking. When I got home she was just getting ready to serve the girls and she said "Now momma the kitchen is a mess, but I will clean it up after we eat". I went into our little barn and saw the table with candles, the table was set so beautiful with red and cream checked homespun fabric napkins. She had made Alfredo/Chicken Pasta and french bread. I thought to my self. Here are two young girls thinking of serving their big sisters. All day today I have been meditating on Where your treasure is their will be your heart also. Right before that Jesus is teaching on money. "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS THERE YOUR HEART WILL BE ALSO.I am sure if their momma could see (from heaven) her youngest daughter storing up treasures in heaven, she would be very proud. I am sure that was a prayer of her momma's many times before she died. It was answered today. I was blessed for sure to watch the girls working around in my little farm kitchen. But my heart has been very heavy though to see two little sweet peas with out their momma.I have had quite a few tears today. I am so grateful for my girls. May I continue to teach them in a way that God will see that I am wanting their treasures to be with HIM! Today I got to love the girls for their momma. I am hoping for many more days to do that. Please lift Emily and Shawna up as they still grieve for their momma. If anyone wants to adopt them for Christmas let me know. I would love to give them a love basket with little love gifts. Thank you.

Okay all that said, we have a winner of the "Old Farmhouse Window Wall Hanging". It is all packed and ready to send!!!!! I just need an address! I'll just need to put a shipping label on and it will come to live at your farm!!!!
