Guess What This Is Going To Be?

Hi ladies,

Is this cute or what? Just a plain old RED tool box..............

Remember when I had my little pile of snowmen heads? Post Aug 24th and 28th. Everyone had the cutest ideas along with my own. Some blessed my heart! The designs that I had are in my Peace Creek Collections Store (look along side my blog for my store). Anyway, I am having another one of those days going on at Prairie Flower Farm. I already have an idea for this "Adorable, RED Tool Box", but I was just wondering if you would do something that maybe I should be thinking about with another tool box. I saw this at WM was just so excited for the idea I am going to do. I can't wait to get started , but please entertain me with your ideas, while I am working on this Christmas present. I am sure I will have a little surprise when I get it finished! Come visit me! Smile!

Whiter Than Snow........

Purge (remove from me my sin) me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and

It SNOWED yesterday! Everyone was so excited in our home, because we love snow!!!!!! It means "Snowman Party" at Grammie and Poppa Camp! I am collecting party supplies and will soon be ready to blog about what we will be doing.

I was talking to a friend yesterday, she had called to see if it was snowing at our farm. Whenever it snows at their home they make homemade doughnuts. Now that is the neatest idea. Do any of you have any special traditions when it snows? I along with others would like to hear your ideas.

Our older sons showed up this morning after being out deer hunting. They had sacks of food for their sisters to cook up! Bacon, sausage, pancake mix, syrup, hash browns and bread for toast. We had a feast and my heart is fulllllll! I sometimes imagine that if I love my children so much, how much more perfectly our Heavenly Father loves us. I think I can meditate on that all day long. How wonderful!!!

A momma never gets tired of having her kids come home.

I can just find myself just staring at them. Anyone else out there relate?

I do love my children!!

They are on vacation, but still can work using their phones if need be.

Christmas Raspberry Jalapeno Jam and YoYo's

Christmas Raspberry Jalapeno Jam

I was working on a new ad that is going to be in the new Girlhood Home Companion today. We took a picture for the ad of one of our most favorite jams. It is so nice for a fast snack or a needed gift. Put a real pretty Christmas small plate, jar of Christmas Raspberry Jalapeno Jam, a block of cream cheese and some wheat Ritz crackers into a decorated basket. Make a square bread cloth and line the basket. Stick in an evergreen pick (think the classes at Stutzman's are getting to me) and some berries! It makes a real inexpensive and fast gift for that someone. Be sure to find a family that you do not know this year and bless them. The Bible says to bless

This recipe makes up really fast and easy.

Christmas Raspberry Jalapeno Jam

1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/4 cups chopped jalapeno pepper

3 cups white sugar

3/4 cup apple cider vinegar

6 fluid ounce container liquid pectin

Serilize jars and lids by immersing into boiling water for

at least 5 minutes. In a saucepan, combine the raspberries,

bell pepper, and jalapeno peppers with the sugar and

cider vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat

and boil rapidly for 1 minute. Remove from heat and let

stand for 5 minutes

Stir in the liquid pectin. Pour jam into sterilized jars and

seal. Store in a cool dark place. Refrigerate after opening.

When you go to serve this place the brick of cream cheese in the middle of your pretty plate. Pour part of the jam over the top and let it come down on the sides. Place the little plate on to a larger plate and arrange the crackers along the edge of the plate. Looks so pretty. Put a decorative knife on the side also. This will have your guests wanting the recipe!!!!!!!

Right now I can hear a huge flock of Canadian Geese going over our farm. The sound brings so many wonderful memories to mind. When I was a little girl my daddy had some Canadian Geese eggs and he incubated them. They would follow him all over our homestead. We also had a little pond that he had dredged out for our family to swim in. Those geese would run right beside him as he would go to jump in our pond. What a fun memory! Lately the sky has just been full of geese and red winged blackbirds. Every time you go out they are talking to each other. I just love living on a farm. It is very quiet. I like!

I have been making lots of yoyo's. I always have a baggie ready with lots of yoyo's to makeup. I was in a Mary Jane Farm yoyo swap with yoyo's and they are starting to come to my mailbox. I have been using a large and regular size mason jar lids. They are so easy and make the cutest table doilies, if you sew them together. Trace around the lid onto the fabrics you have chosen. Cut out the circles and turn the edges under just a little under 1/4"sewing a continuous thread all around the circle. Be sure to use double thread. Pull after you have gone around the whole circle. Secure threads. As you see in the picture I used lots of different fabrics. I like to iron each yoyo, I think they look better. You can make all kinds of shapes. I just made a rectangle shape. 7 across and 6 down. Enjoy!!!

Stutzman's Week Two,

Larry and Kim at Stutzman's Greenhouse were teaching us everything we need to know about wrapping presents.He said you don't have to decorate every present just enough to decorate around the tree. I am not sure who's ladies head this is. Sorry kind of looks funny huh? Looks like she has the beginning of a present on her head.

Start you present with a wrapped box. Tie the box up with wired ribbon leaving the ends free.

Everything Larry does is so relaxed!!!!

Make a big bow and hook to the package. Sooooo easy!!!!

Larry took this really large evergreen/pine cones pick and tucked it under the bow and bent it up into the back of the bow.

Pull the bow up between the evergreen branches.

Look at this present. Larry said " A present within a present!" I agree!

Using berry and evergreen picks were so pretty and really dressed up the present!

Start with a white present. Take gold holly and greenery picks and tucked them under the bow. Bring the bow loops and fan it out bending the bow to make it pretty. Larry would take small pieces off the gold holly pick and added it to other parts of the evergreen.

Mr. Larry said "don't hang the ornaments tuck them in!!!!! He will come to your house and cut the ornaments off. That would not be fun!

They have two windows. I love looking inside. It is breath taking. I just wanted to show you both. So pretty. See the berry garland at the top of the window?

The window has snowflakes hanging all down from the ceiling, and then presents wrapped in burlap. Cute!!!!! That was probably my favorite present that was wrapped. I went today to by some burlap. Can't wait to pretend I am Larry and start wrapping presents. Ha! They had snow sprinkled all over. Clusters of red berry picks and wreaths. Just beautiful! This was the cowgirl (cowboy) tree. They bought rope at Walmart and as you see they wrapped it up a few times and then roped it into the tree. My Taylor wants this for her room. We have bought one saddle ornament so far. We will be adding a few more, slowly. We are going to take cardboard and cut them into stars. Then we will take some thin rope and glue around the edge. We have some lime green bulbs to add. Her bedroom is in lime and brown. Her daddy is going to cut some barbedwire into pieces and she is going to make the shape of stars out of them. Then she will tie the ends with twine. We also bought some rope for her tree.

I really like this rail that Larry did. They have a lot of really nice beautiful ribbons, that are really different then what you see at other places.

Look at the little white trees. They were one of my favorites.

I thought that this pillar was so neat. They build everything right in the inside the greenhouse. Lots of old windows tucked in everywhere! Love it!!!!!

My Phil had to go into Orshlen's to get some medicine for one of our horses. Look what greets everyone. I thought it was so unique. Don't you think so? Cute cute!

Well that was my day with my precious girls. It was really a fun day! Next Sat. they will be doing wreaths and swags. Can't wait! Hope you enjoy seeing what we saw today.

Pumpkin Placemat Table Runner

I had so much fun designing this table runner for a basket for our crisis pregnancy dinner auction. We helped start what is now called "Open Doors." I was an unwed mother and helping girls, young men and families has been part of my ministry. I can't work at the center, because I still have girls at home that I am responsible for, but my heart is still with the girls that need encouragement and need encouragement to "choose life". I have been helping young ladies for about 25 years. I still have some of those, now ladies that I still get to love on. I have been so blessed by who the Lord has

put in my path. God helped me through my time and it is a joy to see Him work through others. One of my precious daughters in loves works there now. Did I ever think????
