If you ever need a Russian Picture Bible you can get it here We have known our friends that were missionary's (I should probably say not were but are, because they are still spreading the gospel with their book store) for many years. Never in a million years would I have thought that their online bookstore would be just what we needed for our Vitaliy!!!! Isn't God so amazing to set things in motion years before we might need it? Like I have said before..........I love it sooooooo that HE is in the DETAILS!

I was able to sit last night with my girls while needle punching some snowman heads for an order. It was so wonderful to just rest.....and not have to worry about time.......and be in my HOME. You guessed it..........I JUST LOVE IT!

I have three teenage girls in my front room. Giggling.......giggling and giggling. Need I say more?

Vitaliy went to the dentist yesterday and did very well. The dentist is donating his services. A beautician is cutting his hair today she is doing the same. He started learning English last night and is doing fantastic! I have to say........that I know that your prayers are being answered. So many prayers are going up for Vitaliy.........and we sooooo thank you!

The other day when I told you that Tonya gave him pj's to put on, the thing I didn't tell you was when she heard the water running she thought he was washing his clothes. The children in the orphanage have to wash their own clothes when they need to be cleaned. So she went to check on him and he was on his knees in front of the water faucet and he was splashing cold water on himself to clean himself up. Bless his heart he didn't know how to use the shower or the bathtub. That is when Tonya was moved. So was their whole family. Ellie and Ian are learning much and hopefuly through this whole experience we will all learn much!

For some reason when I go to bed at night I always thank the Lord for our bed and my pillow. That might sound silly........but I have always been very grateful for a HOME. There are so many who do not have one. For Vitaliy.......my greatest prayer now is that He will come to know Jesus and that he will have a real HOME. Trusting God that it will be with our family!

We have friends that were Russian missionaries. They now live by us and sell Russian Bibles. Isn't the Lord so precious? They have a business called Russian Publishing where they sell Russian Bibles for adults and children. Today we are getting Vitaliy his own Bible and coloring books with characters of the Bible for CHRISTmas. Pray pray pray........only God can move the heart of man.......He is pure and POWERFUL.

We had some sadness happen on Prairie Flower Farm.........the other day we came home and saw this HUGE hawk fly up from the chicken yard........... he had killed two of our chickens. Ugh! Not nice! Part of farm life. You can't shoot a hawk though........even if they are eating and killing your livestock. Doesn't seem right. All turned around in our land! Anyway........I thought, "I am going to just out think this hawk"...........so I got a pair of Grandpa Jack's old over alls (don't have the heart to throw the overalls away, he has since died, but I know I will make something someday).........and a shirt and I stuffed them with old newspapers...............and LOOK he is our Patriotic Scarecrow! Love him! You know..........he hasn't come back!

Hi sweet ladies........everyone at our HOME has been so blessed by the arrival of Vitaliy. He came to our farm yesterday...............he gathered eggs (I had to put some in from my friend Gail's chickens) mine are on strike! They think it is toooooooo cold. Don't blame them, he loved on a kitty for hours........

he brought a duck into the kitchen. Joshua his host Poppa (our son) knew his Momma wouldn't care. Smile......and I didn't, we are into making memories at our farm! We even had our daughter's colt in the kitchen! Didn't turn our so well....but she cleaned and scoured the...........!

Ian (right) and Vitaliy (don't you think they look alike) talked to each other on the computer. There is a place you can go to......

We cried!

I was able to tell Vitaliy that I loved his smile.......(he smiles all the time), he smiled back to me. He hadn't been talking very much and so I took him out to the horse corral. He lit up and kept saying Horse Horse Horse!!!!! We got so excited......that is not a hard thing for this Babushka to do! We then started communicating on the words that he did know. cat, duck......horse......babushka. Not many words now......but he will be getting English lessons everyday for one hour from Aunt Rae Rae.........she was able to accompany our Tonya in picking him up. God is working! Pray for his salvation please! Today he is going to the dentist.

He doesn't know what a bath tub or shower is..........oh my.... is the Lord teaching our grandchildren some important lessons!

Before our son left last night he came back in alone.........our son's heart has been over

taken ........it is okay.......it is better to love ....it is the Holy Spirit working.......I told him that we love him also.........I told Josh that I was believing what he said about the Lord owning the 0's behind the dollars..........He left me with "Mom.......he owns it all"...........truth spoken!!!!!!!! God is so worthy of our praise. I am asking God specifically for the amount needed to adopt Vitaliy. We don't have it......but the Lord does!

My Heart Is Full!!!! God Loves The Orphans!

Good morning sweet ladies!

Last night we went with big signs to greet Vitaliy (the little orphan boy)...........we could see our daughter in love coming down the corridor with Vitaliy. Our son left us to go greet them...........I have to say that at this point I started to cry.........my heart was so over joyed! I know I have said it before....but sometimes when you raise your children in the Lord and then they leave and they have their own ideas of what they want to believe and they choose to live without Christ............and you weep, beg, bargain with your Heavenly Father..........but if you "Trust" He will give you the Faith to be faithful yourself to keep on. My honey and I prayed on our face.........for a long time. We asked God to search our own hearts and He did. God gave me a promise in the middle of it all, that He would "grow our son’s faith deep in Him"...........God did not disappoint us, but I have to tell you it was one of the most painful times in our lives. So yesterday, when I saw our son walk to go meet this precious little boy...........my heart was doing more than leaps.........in the quietness of my own heart I was thanking my God for a miracle!

I am welcoming Vitaliy! A night I will never forget!

When I went up to Vitaliy I said, “I am babushka”, he smiled. We hugged and boy can he hug, so can I. It was so wonderful ladies! Our grandchildren came one by one and shook his hand..... one gave a football booklet to him. We didn’t know what to call my honey , Vitaliy would call a Dad Poppa and that is what the grandkids call Phil.

Fox News did two videos last night about the 200 children that came from orphanages from Russia, Urkraine and Europe. Kevin and Angie OShields were there they helped our son's family working with New Horizons in hosting Vitaliy. In one of the videos you will see a little boy Nathan who was adopted by the OShield's family........ you will hear what Nathan (Russian boy) said about his adopted Momma, "I got her.........my sweet pea!" God is working............MIRACLES!

Some ladies were talking that our family know and they were not so keen on going over seas when there are so many here in the states that need to be adopted. My Tressy had a good point............ Jesus said, "to go into All the World." We are taking small steps at a time.........Jesus will lead.......we will follow. I am praying that we can keep Vitaliy in our family.........so he can walk with us. It costs 30 thousand dollars to adopt..........so sad! Our son said that the Lord owns the zero's I believe him! I love Vitaliy already......it must be a God thing.........my heart is full........there is always room for one more...right? Children ARE a GIFT from the LORD! I am liking this journey.........but it will be hard to say goodbye........won't worry about it until the month is over..........he will have to go back regardless. Then our son's family can start the adoption process, if that is where God leads them. Please keep our family in your prayers as our son's family pray about what they are to do!

Our boys grew up with Ginger (wrote the song on the video) and they schooled all together in a one room school house . She has since gone into singing for the Lord. A few years back their family adopted a little girl from India........now they have a new song to sing. It is meaning more to me now, than when I heard it before. They are picking up their little girl in this video.........it is priceless and will melt your heart!

We think that the computer problem has been fixed. We will see.........if you don't hear from me......that is why. We finally spoke to a man on the phone that knew what he was doing. IT is working better than ever before. Thank you ladies for praying. We truly appreciate it.

Have a busy day planned today..........later I will be going to our friend's (that I did the corn with last year) Tea Room for the holidays. They are two precious sisters that have never been married and care for their Momma, Gramma Liddy. It will be a very special day!

God Is In The Business Of Changing Hearts

Hello............sweet ladies........haven't had internet since Friday night late.....and it just came on a bit ago..........it really is not a fun deal...........learning some patience!

I am soooooo excited today..........we are going to meet Vitaliy. He is on his way!!!!!! We will be buying balloons and making a poster! Lots of excitement going on!!!!!!! Oh my.........I can hardly wait!!!!!!!! My life is changing already ladies.........my daughter in love, Tonya called........ she and her friend Aunt Rae Rae got to their destination (picking up our son's families little orphan boy). They are staying with a family who also adopted an orphan boy last year. The family met them at the airport and after they picked up them up they wanted to show Tonya and Aunt Rae Rae something. They drove them to a refuge camp. Now ladies........ I didn't know that there were refuge camps here in America. Tonya said, they were taking socks to the families....... that lived there. They were invited into one of the families HOMES at the refuge..............she said they hardly had any belongings and furnishings very meager living. They were asked to sit down and then one of the older little woman left the house and said she would be back. She was gone for a little time and when she entered the house she had bought two bottles of vitamin water. She took 4 small cups out of her cupboard ..........poured the drink into each cup and then gave it to them. Tonya said that she felt like saying "noooooo", because they so little, but she didn't........she knew that the little lady was blessing them with all that she had. My families heart is changing........JESUS wants us to learn from this precious little lady! I think this CHRISTmas is going to be a very memorable one for all our family! I will share when he gets here.

I am having so much fun stitching away............. making a new pattern.........hoping to show you soon, it is almost done and if I don't have internet problems........ maybe I can get it up. Please if you wouldn't mind would you pray that the internet service would start working for good! The LORD has been so good to me!

All In A Day!

Hello sweet ladies............

Oh my, if you can believe this I was out again starting Thursday night until yesterday without internet service. I must say............what are you trying to teach me Lord! I am trying to get it what ever it might be!!!! Smile. They are really having a time.....when you live in the country you can't be to choosy!

I did get a lot done........started early in the morning working on my craft room. I can't imagine how messy I can get when I am "craftin". I see all these beautiful places on girls blogs of craft room with everything all orderly. Not me! But I am getting there. I started organizing.........not there yet......but will be! Today is my third day at HOME. Oh ladies........I can not tell you how wonderful it is. Three weeks seems huge to me and I will be enjoying each day to the max. I am soooooo grateful!!!!!

Then the mail came...............a package........addressed to ME ( I love mail) .........I opened it and look what was handmade..........what a treasured gift. From a precious Momma and friend who cares for their 6 adopted handicap children. She and her husband are amazing.............I love her....lots.......just another one of those things that happens when you have a blog. You get an extended family.....I don't know if she knows this, but when I have my grand children with........I always say"Good Morning Jesus......I think I have shared it before on my blog.......maybe she remembered. Precious is all I can say.........oh and I have already written her.........but THANK YOU AGAIN Sweet Friend! She always encourages me in the Lord.....I have been so blessed.

Please pray for my daughter in love.......she is in route to pick up Vitaliy (the little orphan boy). There has been much unrest of the place he is coming from (I am not naming anymore) There were 15 children scheduled to come to America and the government denied their getting on the flight. Fifteen host parents paid the money.......but did not receive the precious child. Praying that the Lord will comfort them during this time. What a heartbreak for them! We are asking for help with our little boy. God will still be faithful, even if it doesn't go through, but we are still asking. I just heard that horrible things are going on with the orphans over there. It is dispickable what is happening to children.......gross sin is all I can say! We need to pray for children all over the world that are being illegally trafficked. Breaks the Heart of God.

It is Prairie Flower Farm Party Time!

I told Him I loved Him back. Even did a little Praise Dance outside! It was only for the Lord! smile! I thanked Him for the vacation..............it was a gift from Him! I am sooooo very grateful! Wish all that have to work outside the Home could have a vacation with me also. I will be praying for you today!

Good Morning Sweet Ladies!

I am home sewing away this morning....first day of VACATION.........we will go to the fencing site later this morning...........so I am very busy getting things ready for the day............going to be packing orders...... so they can be sent out. Walked around the farm to check on the girls and guys! The ducks are quacking away and the chickens are very very happy........that Momma's Home! I am so blessed. I was just PRAISIN my God and Thanking Him for the job He gave our family.

This last week in the kitchen...........we were soooooo busy baking away. Lots of bread made up for gifts for faculty and fellow employees. One even went to the President at the college. It kept the girls and I movin for sure. It was fun to gift wrap the breads though........ not exactly like I would at HOME....... but I made some fast tags the night before. Used this really neat kraft sheets.........(Chef Q let me buy a box).........tied the tags on with a string.......and they looked really sweet!

Look at what I found in the college walk in fridge!!!!! I couldn't believe it. P written on every egg! Hmmmmmmm.......love those girly chickens! They wanted to make my day.......they did!

Today is one of those days I am just a little on the giddy side ..........can hardly contain the joy that is going on in this head! My girls think I am a little strange. I said.......you don't think they will think this is funny? They said if they are like you? That is not very nice...... tell me if you like! They do love me LOTS! Okay the face is not real.............just in case you thought those chickens were up to something else.........but the little button nose(?)..............that Momma chicken did that allllllll by herself.........just for me........and now you! Love it.........hope this makes you smile.

I am lovin this day already. I cleanned out our closet and bedroom last night............that felt wonderful. Going to decorate the top canopy of our little log frame around the top of the canopy on our bed for Christmas. My granddaughter is coming to stay with, for 2 nights she always turns the lights on and gets the bed turned before I come in (special little girl of 12). That means Poppa sleeps on the couch and the grandson sleeps on the floor next. They will talk and make memories.........Ellie and I will do the same. We have been doing that since she was a baby.............love being a Grammie..........just as nice as being a Momma. I love both!

We will read The Nativity ........getting our hearts ready for CHRISTmas.......... The book has pictures of the movie and scripture......together........I am so visual.

....... and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
