My Momma is Better!!!!!!!!

Hello sweet ladies,

What a week! I am so thankful that it is Thursday and tomorrow is my last day of the week to work!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!! I have so much to be thankful for tonight. After work I went to go and check on my Momma. She was sitting in a chair.......and looking so much better! I was ecstatic. I had no idea that she was doing so well. They told me that she had some food at lunch, (she has to have it pureed) and they would feed her again tonight. Talk about precious! THANK YOU JESUS! I want to thank all of you who also stayed faithful and prayed for her. I am forever grateful! Please let me know when I can pray for you!

I feel like a ton of bricks has been lifted off my shoulders. Have some joy in my heart again. I am so thankful my Momma is still with.........Momma's are needed even if they are not the way you would like it to be......"no talking" in my case......I can talk to her and that is just fine.

I received a package the other day........I really didn't even get to excited about it at the time........ because my mind was with my Momma.......but tonight I got into the fabric.......can't wait to get my hands on it this weekend! I will share when I get my idea finished. I have been waiting for this fabric to arrive.......I love it.......will be fun to show you what has been in my for a long time!

When I got home and went to go check around the farm.......

love this little birdhouse......... it is sitting on a chair close to where two of the Girlies lay eggs. One of the girls didn't disappoint me...... same place........tucked in the straw was an egg! Good girl!

It felt so good to not feel heavy of heart as I had this last few week........so nice to work a little outside.

I looked over to checked on my garlic.........I was surprised to see that it had been growing.......it's all because of the warmer weather. Really getting cold though, how about your weather? Snow maybe here again on Sunday.

It was getting colder as it got darker so I came inside.......washed dishes and fixed some chicken soup for the girls and myself..........num.

I received a note from Regina today...........
Tenlee does have a staff infection in her lungs and is being treated with antibiotics.  Last night Kisa called to say that her xrays looked a little better.  We can't wait to go see her this weekend.

Thank you for praying......I will keep you posted when I hear more on Tenlee!

Don't forget to sign up for our Party, if you haven't already!!!!!!! You have Friday and Saturday until noon to sign up! Go here to sign up please.

Please come and sign up!!!!!!!!!!

Hugs to all you precious ladies and again thank you.......for being there for our family!!!!!!!!!!

Merciful and faithful Lord, because of Your great love I am not consumed, for Your compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him." Lord, You are good to those whose hope is in You, to the one who seeks You. (Lam. 3:22-23) From Praying God's Word, Beth Moore.

I know that just because I seek the Lord that I will not get everything I ask for.......but this time He gave me my Momma.....until He calls her.....I will enjoy our time together!!!!!

Linda

  1. So, explain your garlic garden. Mine didn't fair so well last year, and I plan on trying it again this year. I grew it years ago and did very well, but its been so long ago I must of forgotten my tricks....

    1. Hi April, I planted mine in November. The weather has been a little different here in Kansas. It was late for me, but the weather had been fair. Usually I plant in Sept or Oct. Here is the post where I talked about planting my garlic. Some plant their garlic in the spring and harvest the next fall. Hope this helps you! Thanks for asking! Hugs, Linda

  2. So thankful to hear your mother is better. And how are the girls doing (Tressa and Taylor, that is, not your chickens)? Hope they are feeling better and able to help you at work ... chicken soup will help! Will be praying for Tenlee's staph infection as well.

  6. Yeah! Linda, I am so glad about your Mom! The Lord is so good to us! And he hears our prayers! How are your girls doing? Were they able to go to work with you? I pray so, chicken soup sounds like the best thing for this week-end! We are getting our cold weather again, They are calling for snow tomorrow, we'll see! Grands are home with their Daddy now, (just down the drive way), My Husband and I are blessed to be able to watch them when Mommy and Daddy are working! Sorry that Tinlee has to take more drugs, Praying for her to get stronger, and also for her family and Delainey and her family. Have a wonderful blessed week-end Linda! :) :)

  7. OH, I really like garlic!!! Yummy.

It finally rained today..Not hard, more like a steady drizzle, but I"m so grateful. The farmers in our area will be especially glad for the rain :) :)

Where did you order that fabric? It's really beautiful. I want to make a curtain for the window above the kitchen sink. I've decided the color will be blue. It's a color that my dad and aunt both like!!!

Oh, how did you set up the comments so you can write a reply after each comment? That's nice. I want to add that to my blog.

Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
