Just saying hello,

Hello, my name is Little Jack and I am doing very well, even after experiencing a little flight before I started living on Prairie Flower Farm with Mr. Farmer and Miss Prairie Flower. If you want to read my story scroll down. It is amazing story of how much God cares for even a little duck!

Good morning ladies,
What a beautiful crisp cool morning here on Prairie Flower Farm. Grateful for another day! Just thought it would be fun to put up our newest miracle baby. As some of you know that we had a mishap here, but the Lord came in with a huge blessing. Read the post about Little Jack.

Yesterday after all the work was done, some of our family went to Peace Creek to do a little splashing and fishing. Not all in the same spot...... smile.

Little shoes mean Grammie has a little one on the farm to love and play with. Hmmmmmmm I think I like........ a lot!

Okay, just want you to know something very special will be happening on Monday and then again on Tuesday. Remember Prairie Flower is over a year old now. It is time to celebrate!! and I can't wait for see what we will be doing! I have been waiting tell the end of March to tell and show you!!!! I will do my best at letting everyone who has followed us know.

May the Lord bless those who will be going to the cemetery who have huge open hurts in their hearts because of loved ones who are not here anymore. Know I am praying today for you.

Blessings and love you bunches!!!!!!!

  1. Yeah...so glad that Little Jack is thriving. He looks fluffy, healthy and "handsome" for a duck :) :)
I definitely think that God cares about those things that matter to us...even little ducks :) :) I asked my dad about that the other day...we talk a lot about God, the Bible etc. I think about those small things that make me cry. I asked him if God cares about those things. The answer is a definitive YES. God cares about us...which means, He cares about the things that matter to us..no matter how small, in my opinion :) :)for me a "small thing" is using my money wisely at the grocery store and saving where I can.. I'm working on being faithful to what God was given me :) :) :)
There was an old tv show on CBS awhile back called "Christy" starring Kellie Martin and Tyne Daly in the role of Miss Alice. The character of Miss Alice was a Quaker lady full of wisdom. Anyway, she says "If it makes you cry, it's real". I'll have to rewatch that episode.
It's good to know that I"m not the only one who feels that God cares about all the things that matter to us...even ducks :) :) :)
I literally take that Bible verse to heart where it talks about "in ALL things" make your requests known to God." .Oh, now I can't remember the referance..That's another prayer request of mine. I need to memorize more Scripture..
Anyway, I literally will go to my heavenly Father about anything and everything...He cares for me..and I can talk to Him about all the things that matter to me. I won't go into detail here :) :)
Linda, thanks for posting such good things and reminding us how much God loves us and cares for us and Little Jack and Bartholomew...etc ;) :) I'm so glad you could have family with you this weekend...and especially the grandkids. I bet they had just tons of fun :) :) :)

Love and hugs from Oregon :)

  2. Hi Linda,

Just wanting to return your "hi"! I am so glad that God cares about our small things. Your iron has sharpened my iron. Please pray that I would practice His presence throughout the day. I think I 've contracted the disease of busyness. I do have my special time with Him in the morning and it's awesome, but I'm feeling the need to commune with Him throughout the day more than I do. Any hints would be wonderful :)

Jack looks so wonderfuly fuzzy and soft, soooooo duck-like!

    Blessings on your day,
    Connie

  3. So glad Jack is doing well! God is so gracious, even in the little things. What a wonderful blessing and reminder that if God can care for such a little and "discarded" creature, how much more He cares for us! Thank you for your blog, I so enjoy reading it! :)
