Where I Work.

Dear sweet ladies,

Didn't get much done on the farm other then doing chores. We have 5 more baby chicks from the incubator and 2 from Miss Mabel. She has about 4 more eggs to go. Three other hens are sitting on the rest of the eggs I got at the Yoder Auction. I think I will have plenty of chickens to keep and sell.

I thought it would be fun to show you where I sit in the cafeteria swiping meal tickets. Not fancy, but next year we will have a brand new cafeteria and it will be fun to see if my desk is new. Probably should not hope for it! Smile.

Everyday I take flowers to put on my desk. These roses don't even look real. Beautiful this year. The kids all comment about them and one girl is taking these home to her Momma. A lot of kids left today and more will leave on Thursday. It feels like this year has really gone fast for us. Thank you for all your prayers for us this year.........we know it made a difference!

Tonight we went to one of our grandson's program. When we got home I had to do the chores in the dark....with sun almost going down I shot this pic. I love the way the old barn and windmill looks at this time of night. Thought you might like also.

Two more days.....can't believe this week is almost over. I will like......... when it is. I have so many plans......trying hard to keep this verse in mind.

Trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:6

Hugs and may the Lord bless your day!

Linda

  3. It's nice to see where you work. We all go our separate ways during the day, whether it be outside the home or around the farms. It's nice to get to know folks even over the internet. And I love the roses that give your desk a personal touch and even more beautiful how you share them.
    Blessings,
