Hello sweet ladies,
Last night I received an email from a Prairie Flower Farmgirl asking for prayer for her sweet man. I asked for permission to put up her request.....she said yes! Thats a sweet lady!
My husband has had an accident the other day, he was out playing with our grandchildren and fell and broke his shoulder. He has muscular dystrophy so no muscle mass in the upper body so the break was pretty bad. We just got him home from the hospital as they said he just had to go home and endure the pain for a few months. Where some would have gotten surgery they will not operate on him because of his MD and his bad heart as well. The doctors said the chances of complications are very likely. Please pray for a speedy recovery for him and wisdom in how to help him through all the pain for me. My poor sweet man is in so much pain he actually cries which he hardly ever does. My heart goes out to him. Thank you for your prayers. ... Carol
I can't imagine the pain that he must be going through. Please pray ladies for Carol and her "sweet man". God will help him during this time.
Heavenly Father.....thank you for your presence. We love you and thank you that we can come any time of the day and worship you, thank you......and talk with you. We ask that you would cover Carol and "her sweet man" with everything they need during this time of suffering. Draw them close to yourself please. We ask that you would raise up families to come along side them....and care for them. Give us creative ideas Lord in how to best minister to this precious family. Please knit his shoulder together quickly....you know the pain only to well. Give him rest Lord when he lays to sleep. Protect him from the pain killers. We thank you Father....and ask all this in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen
If you would like to send a card to Carol you can send it to me and I will get them to her. If you want to leave a prayer or encouragement.....leave it in the comments. Thank you!

I have been working in my sewing room and came across these 4 of these panels. I designed this some years back. I am making them available to any who would like to buy one.
Here is a little closer up pic.
They are fun to sew up. The skirt measures 30" across. I will have them available in kit form.
Just email me at prairie flower farm at g mail dot com. I wish I had more. You can't buy these panels anymore either.
You will need to buy the thin quilt batting for the inside.

Will say a prayer for Carol and her husband, I can't imagine breaking a shoulder and not being able to have something done for it..poor man...prayers..ReplyDelete
There are so many people hurting, in one way or another. Praise God that we are not alone, but have a merciful and loving Savior who never leaves us. I will pray for your friend and her husband. There's nothing quite so wonderful as the Body of Christ, holding one another up in prayer!ReplyDelete
Oh my goodness!!! That must be very painful!!Ive never broken a bone but im sure it is no fun!! Dear Father I pray to you today that you bring comfort to Carols "sweet man" and knowledge to Carol to be able for her to take care of her loved one.In Jesus name Amen. Kandy <3ReplyDelete
Sending prayers for Carol and her husband. Broken bones are very painful, as I have broken a few in my time. Praying for a quick recovery as well.ReplyDelete
I will be praying for Carol and her husband. My husband just went through open heart surgery quite unexpected. He is recovering but it is hard to watch them go through these things. I have that tree skirt you designed and I did not know until now that you designed it. I use it on my little tree in my diningroom and had a great time making it up and will enjoy it even more now.ReplyDelete
Praying for Carol and her sweet man, I cracked my ribs and was in awful pain. I can't imagine what it would be like to break something. Praying that the pain subsides and he heals quickly.ReplyDelete
Hope you and yours have a great weekend! Blessings, Karen
I thank God first that your husband has the desire and love for your grandchildren that he wants to play with them. I pray a speedy healing and relief from pain in Jesus' Name. By His stripes, your husband is healed. I encourage you to help him find three or four healing verses in the Bible. Then claim those and believe them. Encourage him to cry out to God in his pain and to remind God of His words of healing.
God, I pray for you to wrap Carol's husband in your arms of love and protection and hope and healing.
I am praying for Carol and her family. Accidents happen and having such terrible pain saddens me. I will spread the prayer request to all I know!ReplyDelete
Linda you are a blessing.
Dear Carol, I will pray for you and your husband that this difficult time will go by quickly and that your husbands pain will be bearable and improve daily!ReplyDelete

Love the tree skirt! You are so gifted!
A very special thank you and hugs to all who are praying for my sweet man and for myself. We do appreciate it so much. He is in lots of pain and it will be some months before he may be close to his old self so continued prayer would be greatly appreciated.ReplyDelete
Sherry you and your husband will be in our prayers as well. Once again, thank you all. hugs Carol
