I love you ladies.........as I have said before.......

YOU BRING A LOT OF SUNSHINE INTO MY LIFE

I so wish everyone of you could "really" come to our farm.

Yesterday I told you that we were going to make a fast trip to Wichita. It was wonnnnderrrrrrful!  I only had time to go to one of the quilt shops. I went to the Picket Fence Quilt Company. I found a few pieces of cotton, two patterns and the new MaryJane Farm magazine. When I was looking for a verse I knew the one I wanted to put up. When I read........  my heart smiled when I read........ "in Delight".  Ladies, I have read this verse so many time before, but the "delight" jumped out at me. That has been something I have missed while working at the kitchen...........working with my hands with wool, flax and cotton. I used to spend full days sewing. Now sewing is........ so precious to me. I am more thankful. God will use everything He has in my life for my good. I think He has been working on gratitude and thankfulness.  Sometimes that chipping away doesn't always feel good does it, but it is good to know He loves me.

Today I am listening to some teachers Here while I get some things done. Studies on Joel and 2 Chronicles. I do believe that we are seeing things happening in the middle east that is showing the birth pains the scripture talks about in the last days. Never before have we seen so many against  Israel and for her destruction. I would even say own state department has not been as supportive as in the past. Our family has been taking our walk more seriously. I enjoyed listening to Anne Graham Lotz. It was very good. I will be listening to Kay Arthur.

Almost forgot to tell you. Last night we saw Josh and Tonya.....our kids that are going to adopt Vitaliy. They had a appointed time to go get their finger prints done. They were told to go before their appointment which was the end of May. The lady that helps them with their adoption said don't wait until the date........drop everything and go immediately. They had hesitations on whether they should do that, but listened to her and  went. Praying all the way. They texted this morning........

"Yea God! WE got right in this morning and were only in the building 1 hour. The lady was SUPER sweet! Praise our Mighty God! :) here we GOOOO!!! Thank you ladies who pray for our family as we go forward in adopting Vitaliy. Your notes of encouragement are a blessing to our family.

Hugs from my farm to your HOME,
Linda

P.S. If you would like to know what the name of my boots were they are called Laura Ashley Elegance Wellington- Cressida.
Here is one place you can get a 8 1/2 size. Not sure why they have so many in that size. If you put in the name into google you can also find the boot in children sizes. Enjoy!

I just put the Strawberry Rhubarb Jam and  Coffeehouse Scones  picture on my side bar so you can get the recipe.

  2. Hi Linda,
You may already know this, but if you go to Joel Rosenberg's FB page, you can hear Anne's message that she gave in Israel last weekend at his Epicenter Conference in Israel.
Don't you just love the MaryJane Farm magazine?! I wondered if you got that magazine. Have a great evening :)

  3. Hi Tina......thank you! Love the boots also.....they are so fun.......tell me if you get some.

Hi Susan.....if you hit the HERE on my blog it will take you to all the speakers that spoke. Really really good. I do like the Mary Jane mag........but I am careful as I read....because of some of the New Age thoughts she has in some of the mags.

Thank you for writing me. Love hearing from you.

  8. Linda,

I agree with you on that aspect of the magazine. I didn't notice it until recently. I wondered if I just hadn't been reading those particular articles or if she was just starting to put them in the magazine. I don't go for that new age stuff either. But, I love the simple, farm, and pretty country things in it.
