Horses Can Change Your Life!

Hello sweet ladies,

I only have a minute to put this post up. We really need prayer. This morning a my friend Mary came to visit and brought breakfast. Strawberries and Apple Turnovers. We packed up a small tea party and off to the refuge cabin. She had not seen all the little touches the girls and I had put into the cabin.

Aunt Mary wanted to see the horses and little Koko. Taylor went to go saddle up Juneau to show her the things she had been teaching her. In 20 minutes life changed for Tay. She was running her through some routines and all of a sudden Juneau went down. Taylor's leg was pinned under her and her leg twisted. I was so worried that her foot was going to be caught in the stirrup. I took off across the field and saw Juneau get up. By the time I got to Tay she couldn't move her leg. She said that her leg twisted when Juneau landed on her. We think it is just a bad sprain with minimal swelling. We are watching it close and putting ice on it. The reason I am writing is that we are asking for prayer. She is sleeping now which is very good, because she said that it just keeps throbbing.

Thank you.......ladies who are all we waiting for the Friends Are Life Flowers In My Garden Apron......I am extending the sale until the  July 15th. So sorry for the delay. I had hoped to get it up today......not happin'! I will be getting ahold of all who have put in an ordered today to let you know. Thank you for waiting. I should have it ready by Thursday.

Thank you for the prayers........my Ellie was with last night. She is sure missing her horse. We are going to make a wooden cross with the name Sugar on it and take it down to the pasture.

Thank you for all the sweetness yesterday and prayers for her. She read all the comments!

Hugs from my farm, Linda

  2. Linda,

Taylor is in my prayers and I will be praying for her continuously. I'm sure you felt like your life was being squeezed from you, when you watched Juneau go down. How frightening for all of you.

Praying for Ellie, too. Wish I could make this time of grieving easier for her, but I know the Comforter who can.

Holding all of you in my heart and my prayers.

And it must be a good sign, I was able to comment for the first time in 2 or 3 days.

    Love you gals!
