Company Is Coming............And They Are Little People!

Our company has been going to come to the Potter's Shed for some time...... and today was the day............

Mrs. Goose..........please keep a look out............we have only a half an hour to get ready!

Tressy and Taylor..........please........ get wash cloths and soapy water..........we must clean all the chairs!!!!!

We need also to wash up the old wooden table!

Please go.........and get the flowers you picked for me in the little white vase, Tressa.........It will be so pretty.............and don't forget the lace tablecloth. It will look just perfect.........

I am thinking the new robin egg color dishes will be so pretty for this evening tea party.............

Father............ I so want this to be so special for my little friends..........I ask that you would touch their little hearts............and use me to bless them.............I know you love them so! I promise I will point them to you................!

Carrot cake we made from work..........they won't mind that the box bumped a little on the way home. Water...........will be just fine for drinking..........they don't care about fancy.

I think I hear them...........driving in..................I will go to greet them!

My little friends brought Arthur ...............

and Violet to sit on the table.........

My little 6year old friend made cucumber sandwiches with little cherries on the top..........perfect for a tea party......... also her Auntie brought beautiful blueberries hand picked from Arkansas..................my favorite!!!!!!

My other little friends that are 5 and 4 baked some cookies with their Momma for our party.........I have a request in for the recipe............I will post it as soon as I get it.........they were the best and all decorated so pretty. We dropped a few on the ground.........I chose to eat one........sand doesn't bother you a bit when you are having such a delightful time listening to all the God Chatter..........they love Jesus.........I am so glad. I asked the 6 year old to pray..........my heart was in awe!!! Precious words of adoration for her Heavenly Father as she addressed Him. I can only imagine what the Lord thought!

We had to mix in a kitten.................

and a few more little kitties

Now with kitties in arms we are off to go explore.....................

It was time to meet the horse Sugar...........she was accommodating to the little girls. They loved her so............ I think she loved them........the girls couldn't stay long........of we had to go again...........

Little Miss Red came running up to us.............they thought I had a very nice "Pet Momma Chicken......she put on a show for them big time. There were giggles and laughs.........made my friend Marian and my heart smile. Aren't my little friends precious? They want to go see the baby chickens in the milk barn................

Do you notice the foot on the chicken?

Preciousness!!!!!!

Did you know that you can hold a baby chicken like a real baby doll???? Nor did we.......it works........ but only.... if you are a child! PRECIOUS!!!! God You are so wonderful to give us children.........friends.......Thank You!!!!!!!!!!

To close the beautiful evening it was a must to ride Kansas our daughter Taylor's horse.

We hugged and spent some time praying...............I asked the Lord for protection for my precious little friends............I asked that He would use their parents to teach them to be Godly women.............that they would want to be Warriors for the Lord.......and that they would follow Him with all their hearts..............I know the Lord will look over them............I trust that He will answer my prayer.

They drove down the road..........Please Lord use the time to night to let them know that they are loved.........by someone who is not even blood related..........but that doesn't matter........what matters is that we love others as Christ has loved us. My prayer is someday that they will have little girls to their HOMES. Take time to love a little one! It is so rewarding.............

I walked into the Potters Shed........so thankful even after a long day of work (when I wish I was at home)..............I still got to live a little like I used to..............God is so good.......but I noticed............

that one of my little friends had left her flipflops.............

and Arthur and Violet were still sitting on the table.............they didn't want to leave the party.

I blew out the candle..........Father, if it is Your will..........can I have another little party.......to
show my three little friends.......and my friend Marian.........again that I love them?

Thank you sweet friends for coming to my blog.............if you lived close.........I would love to have you over.............and I would treat you........... in the Potter's Shed...........maybe someday...........if the Lord wills.

Hugs from the Farm to your Home! I think of you all often..........glad the Lord knows your name!

  5. What a wonderful time for those children! The pictures are so adorable. The one of the three 'off exploring' should be enlarged and framed! I think it's interesting that even little girls have such a mothering instinct. How sweetly she holds that chicken! :-)

  6. Hello, Mrs. Linda this is so sweet, just as the bible says you have done to the least of these you have done unto me. Which I believe goes both ways. What a wonderful seed you are planting in these little girls lives. And Mrs Linda I am asking that you keep my husband in your prayers he is facing a trial right now. I would have to say he has a fear, and is struggling with it. I can so far keep my eyes still focused. But his struggle is the fear is overwhelming him. He is such a sweet man and shares GOD with everyone alot of people want to know where he preaches. He is just in construction. But he loves GOD with all his heart.

    Love and prayers always.

  10. Linda,
Loved your ideas, decor, and the preciousness of spending time with little girls. My 2 favorite tea party buddies are my 6 year old daughter and almost 6 year old niece. The delight in their eyes over the "specialness" of little blessings is such a joy. Thanks for sharing your special evening.

  18. I'd have stayed, like Arthur and Violet.

Every time I think you couldn't have a prettier/cuter photo in your header you do it again. Where do you find the time.
