OOPS!!!!

Dear Sweet Ladies,

Today we drew our winner for the Create & Decorate Magazine and

Homemade Homespun Snowman Cookie Party!

We are so excited that

Tracy Suzanne

of

I was on Tracy's blog today to tell her she had won. She had me up on her side bar and had written about my party. I noticed that I had put the drawing for October 23rd. OOPS! I had two days in mind when I started the party.........the 20th and the 23rd. God used todays drawing to have Tracy win! It was a good mistake on my part!!!!!!! won't mess up on this one! Well.. Lord willing., smile!

  2. Hi Linda! I am in awe of those cookies. They look so well made, and made with love.

My favorite cookie at Christmas is gingerbread. Gingerbread is soooo yummy and they don't last long after baking!

I follow and "like" on Facebook. :)

  9. I am sitting here eating snickerdoogles with fresh pear butter still warm from being in the cooker. Life has been hectic lately so I was in a rush when I posted before. I completely missed the part about sharing a recipe so her goes "Fudgie Scotch Squares" iand a half cups Graham cracker crumbs, 1 can sweetened condenced milk, 1 cup semie sweet chocolate morsels, 1 cup butter scotch morsels, and 1 cup coarsley chopped walnuts

Mix all ingredients well then press into a greased 9x9 square pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes cool for 45 minutes before slicing, into 1 inch squares.

    enjoy,
    cynthia

  17. Hi Linda,
My favorite cookie at Christmas....hm...I am not sure because I love so many! My grandmother used to bake for 2 months before Christmas and fill nearly a hundred wax paper lined shoeboxes with cookies every year. Then we would go in and make up platters of cookies to give as gifts to family and friends. Most cookies were Norwegian but there were many others as well.

But I think my favorite was a shortbread cookie with a blob of chocolate fudge and a blog of carmel and a nut on top. I am allergic to walnuts and pecans so she would put almonds on some so I could have them too. Oh they were YUMMY! I have tried to make them and they are never as good as hers.
I usually make peppermint twists and peanut butter blossoms and sugar cookie cutouts and raspberry thumbprints. OH YUM!
